"Suit yourself," Llynarai shrugged, taking another drink. She raised an eyebrow when Val'ran slipped his arm around her and laughed. She hesistated a moment, but then leaned into him "Didn't think anyone still did that," she chuckled, looking at him.

Tahni looked at her sister. "Why're you so set on not healing?" she asked her quietly as they cleaned.
Av'ka sighed and rubbed her eyes. "Am I really so horrible for wanting them to be able to help themselves if they are in trouble?" she asked Tova, looking up at him and gnawing on her lip.

"No, your not." Tova said, leaning over to put his hand on hers. "But Ka'va is just stubborn... kind of like another strong willed woman I know." He said quietly, smiling at her.
"I can't heal at all, and it takes too much energy for me to even make my hands glow.... why should I waste more energy one something I'm not even good at." She mumbled back at Tahni, attacking the plate with a cloth to dry it.

"Eh, well, I'm not like everyone else," Val'ran said, looking back at Llynarai.
"I think that's a good thing in my opinion," he smirked.

"Yeah," she nodded, inhaling deeply from her cigarette before taking another drink. "I guess it is. So, what're we gunna do?"

Av'ka sighed. "I know, but still. They should
want
to learn these things in case anything happens... I don't want them to get hurt or get killed because they were too stubborn to at least try."
"Yeah I guess," Tahni said, grabbing the plate out of her sisters hands before she broke it. "But still, you don't need to be rude to mom, she's just trying to help."

Val'ran shrugged, once again having not really planned anything out.
"Suppose just drink shome more. We were going to get drunk weren't we?" he asked.
"Or I could play my ocarina if you're desperate," Val'ran said.

To'ka sighed, leaning against the side of the house and let out his breath.
Hard to tell who can be worse sometimes, Mom or Ka.
He thought to himself, and stood waiting for them.
"I know love." Tova said, and looked at his daughter, then stood and walked over to her. "Ka'va, I need to speak with you for a few moments, come with me please." He told her, and she looked at her sister and mom for a moment, then nodded and followed him. They walked past To'ka who nodded at his father and looked away.
They stopped near the edge of the forest and Tova sat down on a rock, his daughter helping to keep his leg straight. "We need to talk about your training Ka'va." He said quietly and she sighed, sitting at his feet and resting her head on his good knee. "Da, I hate magic.... ever since you got captured and had to have mom and the Guardians come and free you.... it's scared the hell out of me." She told him, and he nodded, putting his hand on her head and patting her a little.

"No, I won't risk it," Tyralon said, "but I suppose I'll sort of miss the nuzzling," Tyralon chuckled, still relieved that he was a human.
"You can change though at will easily it seems at least," Tyralon said.

"Don't care," she said, finishing her smoke and then downing her drink. "Getting drunksh want we do, right?" she asked, holding up her empty glass in cheers.

Av'ka sighed and walked upstairs. She got changed into a set of healing clothes, then walked outside. "Hey Tok," she smiled at her son, settling on the grass with her legs folded.
Tahni finished up the dishes and walked upstairs to get dressed.

Tova sighed and looked down at his daughter, then pulled her up into his lap and held her. "I know it was scary back then... and I know you all suffered a lot because of it." He said to her, looking out at nothing as he patted her back. "But you can't live in fear.. and you can't be afraid of something that's a part of you." He said and looked down at her, tilting her head up to look him in the eye. "Your mom wants you to be prepared as you can be when you go out into the world... and I agree with her." He said and she sighed, hugging him again before standing up and nodding.
To'ka looked up as his father and Ka'va approached, and his sister went to their mom, sat down beside her and hugged her. "Do you want Miri out here Av'ka, or should I keep her busy?" Tova asked, looking down at his wife.

Llynarai grinned and went to take a sip of her drink, only to find it was empty. She sighed and ordered a bottle of rum for them, filling her glass and taking a large gulp.
"I think we're bad influences on eachother," Llynarai said, tucking her legs underneath her and looking up at him curiously.

Teldrassil
"She can stay, she might as well," Av'ka smiled. Tahni walked downstairs and headed outside, where she sat between To'ka & Ka'va.
"You guys ready?"

"Probably, but I short of like it," Val'ran said, leaning back on the couch since he was slightly dizzy before turning his head towards Llynarai.

"Oh?" the huntress asked, shifting slightly in her seat. "Whysh that?"
Av'ka & Tahni

"Okay," Av'ka started, smiling. "I know you guys aren't that enthusiastic about this, but at least give it a shot. It's a great thing to learn." She paused for a moment, looking at each of them.
"When you heal... it has to come from the heart, but don't think about it. Just... relax yourself. Feel the energy of the earth around you, and the energy of eachother. Think positive things." She stood up, walking over to her garden.
"Plants are the easiest things to heal," she explained. "They aren't as complicated as we are. Watch." Av'ka knelt near a dying plant, closing her eyes for a moment as her hands took on a soft green glow. Her fingers hovered just above it, and she fed energy and life into the plant, turning it's leaves from brown to a rich green again.
"I know it's kind of hard to explain, but why don't one of you guys give it a shot. To'ka?"

"I love you to," Tyralon said, letting Maria kiss him. He put his arms around her and kept his close, not pulling away.

"I just do," Val'ran shrugged, "I don't know why, but I really enjoy it," he said, tilting his head slightly towards Llynarai.

"Well... yeah, me too I guess," she said quietly, biting her lip. "You're um, pretty cool." Llynarai looked away awkwardly, taking a deep breath and then sucking back more alcohol.
