"Yeah, I guess," Llynarai mumbled, crawling and sitting in between his legs. She wrapped her arms around him, resting her head on his chest. "Goddamn dragons.. such a pain in the ass."

"Yea... they're always like that most of the time..," Val'ran murmured as he rested his chin on the top of Llynarai's head.

"Feeling alright?" Val'ran asked.

She shrugged, burying her face in his chest. "My shoulder is stinging, it might be getting infected, and I think I inhaled too much smoke, my lungs hurt.." Llynarai said, wrinkling her nose. "But I've suffered worse, so whatever." She kissed his chest lightly. "What about you?"

Tza, Praey & Kuno
Shatterspear

Tza'tali bit her lip and shook her head. "I'm not sure," she said honestly. "I will find her. Stay here.. your son needs you." She leaned forward and kissed Base lightly on the cheek, then turned to Kuno. "I'll be back," she nodded. "Brightscale, with me." The raptor hissed at her, nuzzled Quake and then ran to her side as she disappeared into the smoke.

"Stay here Purps," Kuno said firmly to the little raptor, who whimpered and then cuddled next to him instead. "We're just going to find somewhere safe," he said to Zi, kissing her on the cheek. "Don't worry, I'll keep you safe, no matter what.."

Garos
Shatterspear Village

Garos ground his teeth wanting to go with Tza'tali, but stayed where he was, healing Ji, and sighed, running his hands over his skull and feeling a knot there. "Least it wasn't broken. Ja, can you get some water and a rag or something? As I heal him, wipe the blood off him alright?" He asked the other son who nodded and moved off.

Garos pulled off his shirt and ripped a strip free, tying off the stump of the druid's arm, and shook his head as he put some more healing into it. Come back safe my love, I don't want to lose you too. He thought, but then was forced to pay attention as other members of Shatterspear began to leave the ruins of the village and he started to heal them as well, Ja helping him with clean up after he was done with his brother.

"I'm just worried about you," Val'ran said quietly, "I don't want an.. anything to happen to you..," he said faintly as he kept his arms around Llynarai.

Garos sighed and sat back, wiping his head and ignoring the blood on his arms. "Keep them moving Ja." He said quietly, and the boy did so, Base helping out as they funneled the people up the lift. How many more are out there? He asked, Earth and swore when he didn't receive an answer. "Tza, I hope your okay." He muttered, and continued healing people as they came.

Llynarai smiled, but shook her head. "Nothing will," she assured him. "I can take care of myself, trust me. I've been in worse situations.. the dragons are just a pain in the ass." She looked up at him and smiled. "And I have you," she chuckled, leaning up and kissing his cheek.

Tza & Kuno
Shatterspear

Tza'tali hopped on top of Brightscale, gripping his sides with her legs and clinging to his neck. "Good boy, we have to find Una, and any other survivors," she coughed, waving smoke away from her face as they travelled deeper into the burning village.

Kuno sighed, comforting Zi and feeling useless. Wish I could heal like mom and Garos.. he thought, hugging Zi'kumi tightly.

Val'ran gave a faint smile back before returning the kiss to Llynarai's lips.

"Well, that's good to know I suppose," Val'ran said as he tilted his head at the huntress.

"We might be stuck here for a bit until nightfall when we can travel in the dark," Val'ran shrugged.

"Kuno, Kuno." Garos called, and the young man looked over at him. "Is she alright?" He asked, pointing at the girl he was holding. "She doesn't need healing or anything does she?"

"That's okay," Llynarai said, nodding slightly. "I need some water though, my lungs are burning. Suppose we could take a walk to the shore?" she asked him, gnawing on her lip. "Wish we had something to store water in.."

Tza, Praey & Kuno

Tza finally found Una, helping more survivors deeper in the village. "Una, come on, we have to get everyone out of her," Tza said. They began to lead the villagers back to where Garos & everyone was.

Kuno shook his head. "Just minor stuff," he said, kissing Zi's forehead lightly. "I guess just focus on da worse ones, " he nodded. "Is Ji gunna be okay?"

"Yeah, I've got the bleeding stopped, repaired the worst of his injuries, and tied off his arm..." Garos said, looking at the troll druid and shook his head. "He's stable, but we should get him up the lift soon." He said, and looked around realizing most of the people had gone past. He stood up and stood a little apart from the others, looking towards the village. "Hope your mom finds Una quick." He said quietly.

"Oh, yea," Val'ran said with a nod before he stood up slowly, helping up Llynarai in the process.

"Alright, well, suppose I'll wash up there real quick as well while we're down there," Val'ran said as he helped guide her towards the shore.

"Good idea," she nodded, wrapping her arm around his waist. Shiboo whimpered and walked next to them, limping slightly. "It'll be okay boy," Llynarai said to him, reaching out and petting his shoulders.

"She will, my mom's awesome," Kuno nodded, no laughter in his voice.

Tza arrived with Una and a few straggling villagers a few minutes later. "There," she said quietly. "Let's go."

"Yes she is." Garos agreed and helped Ja and Base lift up Ji onto the back of Quake. The group headed for the lift, and squeezed on, Garos holding onto to Frosthorn's reins, the ram having found them as Tza'tali and Una and the others had arrived. Garos sighed as they went up, watching the last bit of the city burn. "By the Spirits." He muttered and reached for Tza'tali's hand.

Llynarai smiled, leaning up and kissing him on the cheek. She looked around them, then quickly stripped out of her dirty clothes and waded into the water.

Tza, Praey & Kuno

Tza squeezed Garos's hand, closing her eyes and leaning into him as a tear rolled down her cheek.

Praey continued staring at Zane, who was still crying. "Dunna worry pretty chil', joo gunna be okay, mamma gotcha.." she murmured, shaking slightly.

Yo'kuno looked around them at the broken and crying villagers. He wrapped his arm around Zi and held her close, hanging his head. Purple chittered at him and he scratched her head, his eyes unfocused.

"I'm not sure where we can go now." Garos said quietly to Tza'tali as they moved off the lift, and sighed as he looked around. "They hit Shadowprey City as well... and most of the other cities all across Azeroth." He murmured, watching as Base and his family moved Ji off Quake, who padded over to her rider, nuzzling Kuno.

Val'ran took off his dirty clothes as well before walking into the water. The cold water helped num his raw legs, easing the pain he felt and helping him greatly.

"Much better..," Val'ran thought as he floated on his back, just trying to release the tension in him because of the previous attacks.

Llynarai sighed, ducking under the water for a few moments and running her fingers through her tangled hair. She surfaced, looking over at Val'ran with a slight smile on her face as she continued to comb her hair with her finger tips.

Tza, Garos & Praey

"I have no clue," Tza said quietly. "There must be someplace safe. There must be thousands of refugees, they have to be going somewhere.."

She turned around at the gathered group of survivors, all of them covered in soot, sweat, blood and tears. "Stay together," Tza called to them. "Let the weak and still injured ride on the mounts that managed to escape as well." She moved, helping the elders, the injured and the children.

Yo'kuno sighed again, helping Zi on Quake, then climbing up behind her. "It's okay, you can rest, I got yah.." he said quietly, wrapping his arms around her.

Garos smiled slightly, proud of the way his wife was taking control. He walked towards the back of the group, checking on people and he heard the low sound of crying. He tilted his head and followed the sounds, and stopped near a large bush. He crouched down and gently pushed it aside, and saw a young troll girl, wearing a simple cloth gown which was covered in blood. She stared at him with wide eyes and made a small sound of fright and he tried to look harmless.

"Come here little one, it's not safe to be away from the others." He said quietly, holding out his hand to her. The girl looked at it for a moment, then at his face, and carefully crawled towards him. He bit his lip, seeing she was only about 5 at the most, with a dirtied soot covered face and matted blood stained hair. "Come here dearheart, let me see if your hurt." He said and she stopped in front him.

The half-orc checked her head and looked in her eyes, and let out a sigh of relief, seeing she was unharmed... then realized the blood was probably her families. "Come on little one, let's go with the others." He said and picked her up. She made a low sound of fear and threw her arms around his neck, burying her face in his shoulder. He soothed her as best as he could and walked towards Tza'tali, wondering if the girl still had any family in the group.
