Garos nodded at the elf. "My name is Garos Wildwalker." He looked up at the shield and considered moving out from under it but changed his mind. "Once everyone has recovered enough, we should start towards Gadgetzan." He said, reaching out with his senses and smiled, Seeing the storm would pass over soon.

"Good drawing," Areon said to Sofera, his pain gone for a moment before it came back again. He walked off to the side once more, biting his lip to try and help redirect the pain.

The night elf went back to tracing a few more details into the sand, wondering how it was pouring so hard a few feet away and yet it wasn't pouring onto her head. She then looked up at saw the shield, "Oh."

Garos stood up and his raptor looked at him questioningly and the half-orc smiled, patting it lightly on the head. "I need some food, so I'm going hunting." He told the others, then moved out into the rain, heading into the desert, hoping that everyone in the camp wouldn't try to kill each other while he was gone.
The raptor churred as he looked up at the sky, shaking his head and Garos chuckled. "If you don't like it, go wait with the others." He said, and the raptor shook it's head, making a rude noise and Garos laughed. "Very well, let's go boy."

Areon took out his tome, realizing he had neglected to keep it dry during the flood. He panicked and flipped it open, realizing all the pages were soaked and the ink smeared.
"It's ruined!" Areon said, hopelessly trying to search the pages for anything.

Sofera looked up, "What was in it?" She noticed the half-orc shaman man was gone, she frowned slightly at that.

Garos smiled, surprised that he was happy to be back on his own as he ran across the wet sand, the raptor at his side, tracking the trail of a large basilisk. "Hm, it's a big one... and it's injured. That's good, I'd feel bad if it wasn't." He murmured, and reached back to pull his mace free.

"Everything! The teachings, the words, the logs, all of it!" Areon exclaimed, staring at the tome.
"I've had this for so long, and then I just ruin it so easily," he said to himself, now upset with himself for letting the tome get destroyed.

"You don't understand," Areon said turning to her, "it was my fathers. He gave it to me before I got separated from him three years ago, and now I have nothing," he said, placing the book down.
"He was a man of the Light, and I had promised him I would try harder to believe in those teachings before he gave it to me...," Areon said, sighing deeply.

"Thank you spirits of the Wild, I promise to use everything I can from it's body." Garos said, then hefted the corpse of the basilisk up onto his shoulder and started back towards the others, his raptor pacing along beside him.

Sylos sat up against the rock eating an apple when he heard what the human said.
"So long as you believe in the light you will never have nothing." He said then looked up to see the rain had stopped.
"Guess we don't need this anymore." He said then made the shield dissipate.

"I suppose so," Areon said, taking the elf's advice. He placed the book down in front of him, pushing it away and sighing.

Garos noticed a bit of a pall over the group, but figured if he needed to know, someone would tell him. He merely dragged the basilisk corpse into the center and got to work, pulling out his skinning knife and pulling the scales free, then got to work cutting and slicing the skin free and laying it aside to dry out in the desert sun.
He quickly gutted the beast and threw the entrails to his raptor companion. "If your hungry, feel free to take some of the meat and cook it." Garos said to the other, putting the bones of the creature aside and sitting back to think how he could use them.
