Snowmane felt her heart skip a beat as three more worgen broke into her room. She felt terrified. Whether sent by Lobo or Blackbite, it only meant horrible things for her. With herself being of little fighting ability, it seemed that it was only Wolfbane and Wyrmbane that could stand up to the three vicious enemy worgen. The numbers were not in her favor.
Character: Thekra Blackrock
Thekra stood off to the side for a moment, catching her breath. She'd been fighting in Rend's direction for hours now, but hadn't made much progress towards the duel between Blackhand and Saurfang. Now that she had been momentarily relieved, she needed to rehydrate and rest her sore muscles, if only for a moment.
While she rested, she thought back on all that had happened. She wondered what had happened to the half elf and human that had saved her in Desolace, and the female human that had brought her to Shadowprey. She briefly felt a pang of intense sadness when she realized that they were the only 'friends' that she had. She had no family. She'd left her home. The Horde seemed to loathe her.
She didn't cry. She was too old for that. Instead, she decided, with bitter resolve, to do her duty, and cleanse this world of her terrible lineage by finally taking Rend from it. Then she could go back to Outland and find some place to die. And finally her grandfather's taint would be removed from the world.
She stood, holding her axe, too massive for any mere orc, firmly in her hands, and resumed the tiring process of cutting a path to her uncle.
"So I hear you sent some agents after Snowmane?" he asked Blackbite.
The fighting intensified around the area. The duel was still going.

Location: Orgrimmar, Durotar
Vinymnev and Vagrin, along with a large group of alliance and horde soldiers fought desperately with the dark horde soldiers, the small skirmish had soon turned into a battle. Every few seconds something would explode or collapse.
Valanayia dismounted when she got Lektri and Amora to the medical encampment, she pulled the gnome and the worgen off the mechano strider and lay them down. She carried Lektri over and put him down on a stretcher, the gnome twitched slightly. He was in a bad state and shrapnel was embedded in his skin in many places.
Valanayia carried Amora over next, the muscles in her arms bulged as she carried the worgen. She finally managed to lay Amora down on another stretcher, the impressive worgen lay still. Amora had a rather bad tear accross her stomach and she had suffered a bad blow to the head. "That was exhausting, I need to get back into shape," said Valanayia quietly to herself, inspecting her small but powerful muscles. She waited for a medic to come and tend to the gnome and the worgen.
Character: Lord Avorthal Deathguard
Location: Ashenvale Forest
Avorthal stood watching the worgen, he walked off to a quiet corner, then when he was sure he was safe he pulled out a small mirror, he looked into the mirror and dark swirling clouds formed, then as soon as they had appeared, they disappeared revealing a dark room with a tall woman clad in dark armor in the centre. The figure spun around, "what news do you have Lord Deathguard," said the mysterious voice. "I have found the building, yet it is under worgen and what appears to be demon control. So far they have not decided whether or not to let me find the orb," he replied. The woman stood in silence for a second, "then see to it you get the orb, whatever the costs," she said finally. "I can do well enough on my own, they seem rather powerful and could prove to be a potential ally. I do not know whether I can trust them, but then again we do need several people to harness the power of the orbs. They seem unaware of the other orbs and as far they know there are three and possibly some others," said Avorthal. Avorthal waited for the figure to dissapear, "unfortunately, I do not feel very much like following someone who does nothing. I do all the work so the orbs are rightfully mine," said Avorthal to himself. The small mirror soon revealed another figure...
Avemthar nipped Salisha, drawing some blood, the nip was to encourage her to transform and give chase, as Avemthar realised she may not have ever tried transforming before and he remembered that strong feelings seemed to make it easier as he had learnt earlier when Ivrana left. He shoved the unhappy thoughts about his mother aside. "Scared are we?" growled Avemthar in challenge, a big worgen grin on his face. He howled loudly, "this will be too easy," he said. He bounded off into the forest so that Salisha would give chase, this part of the forest was very over grown and there were several small clearings, along with many fallen trees as well as various bushes and shrubs.
Meanwhile, back at Sarah's house, Frostwing walked along the path to the archery range, he saw Avemthar challenge Salisha.
"Hmm, the other people may not like it if Avemthar and Salisha are in worgen form, after all they may start play fighting and last time they did not exactly come out of it scratch free. Salisha and Avemthar did not seem to mind, but still the others might,"
thought Frostwing, "I could buy them some time, after all, the trees are pretty thick so if I can block the path then they will have to take a long detour..."
Frostwing heard Avemthar's howl and saw him nip Salisha, "okay never mind, I just hope that they do not get angry at the Salisha and Avemthar for fighting, even though they seem to enjoy it and come out with a only few mere scratches. Besides, it seems to be instinctive for them as worgen," said the owl to himself. Frostwing landed on a branch high above the path and gazed down, waiting until someone would come past. "Hopefully they won't see me, no one seems to appreciate me and everything is my fault in their eyes," he said unhappily, remembering how he had been treated the last few days. The branched swayed under his weight and the owl shifted his feet carefully, finally the branch recovered.
Ivrana hoped Avemthar was safe, she had already begun worrying. She landed by the water, Teldrassil towered behind her. Ivrana looked towards the sea, "I have a long flight ahead of me," she muttered, taking off again in the direction of Darkshore. The winds howled past and dark clouds blocked out the sun, she could hear the sound of thunder and she could see lightning flashes in the distance.
Dennis Lobo Hendricks
Lobo watched as Lupe stalked through the forests, wearing simple leathers to keep them from catching on the underbrush. He smiled to himself, moving along in her wake, the scent of a buck in the air as they moved onwards. The young worgen froze for a moment, then sprinted forward quickly, stopping under a low brush, and carefully pulled aside a few leaves to look out.
Lobo moved to the side, putting himself into the path of the animal in case she missed. After a few moments of silence, Lupe struck, bolting out of the bushes and ran forward on all fours, before leaping upwards and landing on the back of the buck, the animal rearing and making a bellowing noise as she sunk her claws into it at the shoulder, then struck, her jaws wide as she bit deep into it's neck and twisted, trying to break the beast's neck with a powerful bite.
The buck made another bellow noise as it tried to shake the worgen girl off it's back and sprang forward, but Lobo was there, rising out of his own hiding place and sending it skittering away, the head cracking into a low hanging branch. It dropped stunned, and Lupe quickly finished it, tearing the throat out and stopping for a moment to lap the blood, then looked up at her father sheepishly. "It's alright; sometimes the Worgen instincts overwhelm our own." Lobo said, pulling out the skinning knife and handing it to her. "You killed it, you skin it." He said with a smile, settling in to watch.
"Ow." She said when he nipped her. "Your not getting away with this." She said giving chase after him. Though she had to stumble past large tree roots and zig zag around tree's.
(( Heh. ))
Blackbite nodded. "If they can't kill her, I don't know what - besides myself - could."
She looked up at Flamehowl. "I want you to go and talk to Dag'rema about this death knight we have vistiting. Tell her everything that he's related to us, and don't forget to mention that 'orb' he spoke of. We might be able to use it and kill him if all goes well."
Salisha continued to chase after him. Slowly the forest began to get thicker and darker. As it did she began to slow down to a walk. She kept looking around nervously knowing that wild animals could attack at anymoment and she had nothing and no one to defend her. She continued to follow the way she though Avemthar had gone. She heard a rustling nearby. She looked over nervously. "Avemthar?" she said walking over to it. "This isn't fun anymore. Come on let's go back." Out of the bushes came a rabbit that ran sprinting off. She was glad it wasn't anything dangerous but she didn't want to run into anything else. "I'm going back." She called out hoping He heard her. She began to walk back the way she thought she came.
After a short walk the forest seemed to get thicker still. She was confused. "Wasn't this the way i came." She said looking around. Then she realized she was lost. She began running around trying to find her way out.
"Master You may want to see this." He heard his imp say and he turned to see his two Worgens had fallen apart. "Shame I thought they would have lasted longer. No matter." He said turning back to the lab he was building. "Why they do that?" The imp asked. "They were animated with shadow magic. With out any necromancy to keep them toghther they eventually fell apart. Though a little faster then expected." He said then walked off.
"Where are you going?" The imp asked taking off after him. "To see what would happen if we did this to the living." He replied as he walked out of the room and headed towards the mouth of the cave.
Painfang, Ripp, Gnawl
"Just stand aside, worgen," Gnawl said to Wolfbane and Wyrmbane as they entered the worgen's room. "All we want is Snowmane. Let us have her and we'll go on out merry way."
Snowmane's blood ran cold with the other worgen's words, and she looked at her two friends fearfully.
Painfang, Ripp, Gnawl
"Just give us the b---- and we'll see to it that you're rewarded," Gnawl continued. "Mistress Blackbite is generous with those who are loyal to her, she may even be able to keep Painfang here from ripping you apart."
Painfang shot the other a look, but Gnawl just continued. "Don't worry, she'll die quickly, painlessly. The mistess never said we were to torture her."
Flamehowl nodded and left, heading to Dag'remar.
((I think I'll go ahead and post again, even though MM isn't here. More interesting than waiting for him.))
"I don't want to die!" Snowmane retorted shrilly. "What did I ever do to Blackbite? Or Lobo? Or
?" she asked, not so much in earnest question, merely voicing her thoughts.
Wrex was in the medical tent getting patched up after a long time fighting the Dark Hordes forces.
All right take of your shirt
" One of the female healers said as Wrex did so slightly gasping at the variuos scars that marked his chest
"Whats wrong" Wrex asked
"Nothing" The healer repiled and started healing the cuts all over his body
Themra was carried into the medical tent on a stretcher. She had two arrows embedded in her body, one right above her collarbone on her right side, and the other lodged in her abdominal wall, just to the right of her navel.
Blood stained her clothes, and she groaned as she was carried in, a worried Blackbite limping behind her, whimpering with concern.
"Dammit..." she muttered groggily. "I was still fighting... take me back..."
"Shh..." a troll surgeon whispered, preparing to extract the arrows. "Ya bleeding pretty badleh. Ya gotta stay 'ere fa da time bein'."
Flamehowl entered the fortress. "Dag'rema, I bring a message for you!" called Flamehowl.
Painfang, Gnawl, Ripp
"Shut up, worm," Gnawl growled, he and the others moving towards her.
Character : Four Worgen
Location : Ratchet
Gnawl was stopped when Wolfbane moved between him and Snowmane.
"Firstly, I almost killed Painfang back there, before he was carried off. I'm not afraid to do it again."
"Secondly, you can't have her."
((Yay, MM's here! :D))
Snowmane drew her small knife. At best she could hurt the enemy. At worst she could take her own life before being taken back to Blackbite.
Dag'rema smiled, and summoned Flamehowl to her quarters.
"Yes?" she asked. "Please, tell me this news."
