Lighthowl nodded, lining up the target dummy in the distance with the scope. After a few minutes of making sure the aim was perfect, she fired. The recoil sending her to the ground.

Curho summoned up his imp, the small, twitching creature cowering beofre his master. Curho snarled and kicked him. "Shall I have this one take the item into the Nether, milady?" Curho asked Dag'rema.

"On the bright side," he said, looking at the target, "...you got a clean headshot."

"Really?" smirked Logan, picking up the sniper and once again placing it in her hands. "Then take another shot."

Lighthowl took aim again, this time bracing herself for the gun's recoil, and fired. The bullet nicked the target's left side a little, but otherwise missed. "Well," she said. "At least I didn't fall down this time."

"You took aim too quickly." explained Logan. "You're only just beginning; take your time."
"Oh, and don't ready yourself for the recoil of the shot. "You got knocked back because you didn't expect it."

"Alright," Lighthowl nodded. She slowly took aim again, letting herself take her time with lining up the shot with the target.

Logan watched as Lighthowl took aim, tilting his head to the side and squinting at the bullet hole that her first shot had made.
I'm bored, said Wolfbane.
Well, what do you want to do? replied Logan.
Why don't you grab a bag of gold, find that your old girlfriend Cheryl again, and--
Logan just decided it was best to just stop listening there.

Lighthowl pulled the trigger, firing another bullet towards the target. "Did I hit it?" she then asked, looking at the dummy for herself.

Logan raised his eyebrows in surprise. She had actally hit the target right in the middle of its neck.
"Yes, you did, and might I add it was a spectacular shot." he said, winking at Lighthowl.

Lighthowl smiled and blushed a little under her fur. "So," she then asked him, "have you remembered anything else that wasn't in your Journal?"

"Not really." said Logan, rubbing the back of his head slightly. "I write pretty much everything in there..." he said, blushing in embarassment as he realised that he could have uncovered some secrets about himself during that short term of memory loss.
