"I think I'll be leaving for a while," Snowmane nodded. "There's something I have to do..." she added, standing and heading up to her room.

Krista nodded at Snowmane's words, then reclined slightly and sipped at the glass of wine she held.

He listened intently to the conversation. When he heard the part about killing women and children he knew he could sit idly by no longer. "You would kill those who have no way of defending themselves? How would that make you any better then they that you speak of with such hatred? How would that make up for the lives lost to them? Are you going to let blood pay for blood?" HE said the earth echoing his rage with slight tremors.

Snowmane packed up a few of her things into her napsack--clothes, traveling food, soap, and other necessities--slung her napsack over her shoulder, and went back downstairs, finally exitting the front door.

"Trolls are not people..." Taelani spat. "Killing them is doing the world a favour..." she shrugged. "Besides, if they wanted to live in our lands peacefully, they shouldn't have kidnapped and raped our women. Now, we must retaliate, or else it will happen again."

"Sounds like what the orcs did to my people to me." he said standing. "But go on and become fool's thirsty for the blood of those who are not your own. Go and become monsters!"

"You know nothing of the orcs..." Taelani hissed. "I can sympathize with what they did to your people, but if you think that is the worst that they can do... have done... you are a fool."

"Oh really? Did the orcs kill thousands of your already tiny population of people? Did they leave you an orphan forced to survive by himself on a dieing world? Did you hide for years in fear of the fact that they might kill you simply because you are what you are?" HE said now looking straight at her with his empty eye sockets.

"Perhaps not, but they did spend two agonizing weeks violating me in every way that they could think of and left me a baby half-orc as compensation," Taelani snarled back, hatred in her silver eyes. "I watched as my companions died of disease or cold or hunger or simply from the blood loss and broken bones that came with the brutality of their rape. I don't suppose they did that to you, did they?" she fumed, her fangs bared viciously.

"To my knowledge i doubt they did." he said. "But still would this make you any better then they? Would killing those who cannot defend themselves in cold blood truly make up for such things?"

"I am killing monsters," Taelani answered. "I am killing monsters that are doing the same things to my sisters as the orcs did to me. And I will sleep well at night after it is done, knowing that my people have been spared even further pain and suffering."

He sighed. "Then you can not be swayed to change this terrible course?" He said sympathy in his voice.

"I will not," Taelani answered. "I respect your people, and I understand that you have different thoughts on philosophy and religion, but I know what I must do here. My sisters' blood cries out for vengeance, and I must heed the call."

"IT is sad that things must come to such." he said with a sigh. Then he began to pray.
Earth mighty and strong please i humbly ask of you. Allow me use of your powers so I may stop them from this destructive path, and save hundreds, maybe thousands of lives.
He waited feeling earths hesitation at the huge request he was making, but in the end earth allowed him. "I can not allow you to do such things. Murder of innocence is no better then what your enemies have done to you." He then called upon the power that earth had allowed him and caused two large stone walls to pop out of the ground and block the exit's. "You shall not be going on your deadly mission." He said feeling a bit weak after calling on that much of earths powers.

Taelani tried to control herself. "Please remove these walls, sir..." she seethed. "I do not wish to have to subject a Horde sympathizer to the same fate as the Horde..."

"I have done nothing. This is the power of the earth! It believes that what you are doing is wrong!" he said. "And if i were you i would not do what may anger the elements. I am living proof." His hands quickly went up toward his blindfold. He untied it and allowed everyone in the room to see his empty eye sockets with the horribly burned flesh around them.

"And I am a servant of the living Mother Moon," Taelani answered. "And I must carry out her judgment. By restraining me in such a manner, you make yourself an enemy of the Night Elves and the Mother Goddess..."
"What's going on?" one of the sentinels asked, standing and examining the wall.
"A horde sympathizer has sealed us in," Taelani answered.

"I do not simply sympathize with them. I sympathize with all life. I feel for all the things that give to me there lives to eat and to live, i sympathize for you as well. You have obviously suffered much at the hands of others, but to condemn an entire race to death simply for being? That sounds not like any kind of good judgement that any just deity would wish."

"I don't expect you to understand, shaman," Taelani answered. "I do not condemn the trolls or the orcs or anyone for simply being. I condemn them for raping and pilliaging our lands and people. For killing and maiming the innocent. The trolls and the orcs are hardly innocent, and they must be killed for it."
"I agree," the sentinel at the door nodded. "Two of my blood-sisters were killed in the Gulch. I found their heads impaled on pikes. We're simply taking back our forest, is all. Surely you can understand that."
"My father was killed by an ogre in the Second War," the human paladin added. "What has the Horde done to earn mercy? If they wanted peace, they should have stayed on their own damn planet."

He turned his empty eye sockets toward the human. "WE also came to this planet. Does that mean my people do not want peace?" He said looking at the human. "Yes the orc came here for war but they are not the same as they were then! Then they were demon tainted monsters, but now...now they strive to return to what they were in a foreign land that hates them simply for past actions. My people have forgiven them, and we suffered much more then you did in our own struggle against the orcs."
