Once he was out of earshot, Linmarion turned to Base, and spoke in a hushed, urgent whisper.
"Listen, we don't have much time so I'll say this quick. A couple of night elves have assembled an entire bloody raid and they're going to attack the Shatterspear." said the night elf, falling silent as he let the chieftain make his decision on what to do.

She smiled and nodded and quickly followed after the group."Let's wipe those trolls out!" She said as she fell into step with everyone else.

Base blinked. He had so many questions: How many? Why? Who?When would they reach the tribe?
But above all, he was simply driven to stop them.
"Who's leading them? I'll kill them," he nodded.

Taelani nodded and set off marching at a brisk pace. "Should be just an hour or two's march," she nodded. "Less if we hurry."

Location: Darkshore
Mary was listening out her window once again. She liked the sounds of the village. Suddenly, a gust blew in.
Mary tilted her head. She had thought she had heard someone talking, but it was very quiet, as if they were very far away.
She strained to hear it again.
"...the el..." she thought she heard. She strained harder. "...the elves come..."
She raised an eyebrow.
"What?"

"A priest and a druid, they'll probably be next to each other." nodded the elf. "I don't think you'll manage to kill them when they're surrounded by their raid. I'm going to take a hippogriph there and warn them." he said.
Thinking for a moment, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a medallion. "Mary? Mary, you there?"

Location: Ashenvale
Base caught up to the group soon. He quickly counted ninety-two heavily armed individuals among the party, including seventy-one night elves, three draenei, thirteen humans, and five dwarves.
"
&*!@...
" he thought. He began looking for the leaders of the party. One, a priestess, seemed to carry herself with a leader-like quality at the head of the party, but he could be sure if it was her. Linmarion said she'd be with a druid, and there was no druid near her that he could see.

The shamen slowly stumbled to his feet. He had to stop them. He quickly began to stumble off in the direction they had gone. "Must stop them from becoming murderer's. Even if they don't want to be stopped." He said as his will pushed him on.

Linmarion let out a small sigh of relief as he heard Mary's voice. He'd half expected that something had happened to her.
"Listen carefully, because there isn't much time. There is a raid of about one hundred people consisting of night elves, dwarves, a draenei and some dwarves coming down on Shatterspear. Warn somebody - if they won't believe you, at least request that somebody looks through an eyeglass in Astranaar's direction."

"A raid?" Mary gasped. "Why? I thought we were safe here?"

Location: Darkshore
As the raid passed the border of Darkshore, Base finally spied the druid that confirmed the priestess' identity. He raised his crossbow, aimed carefully, and fired.
Character: Taelani
Location: Darkshore
Taelani's ear twitched, and with lightning speed, she leaned back, watching a crossbow bolt fly past her, mere inches from her face.
"Damn," she muttered. "They're in the trees! Shoot down anything you see! Don't let them get back to the village to warn the others!"
Base swore quietly and stopped his movements to avoid detection. The group continued on, far more wary than they had previously been.

"I don't know." said Linmarion. "A couple of insane elves did this... listen, I'l on a hippogriph heading your way. Wait in front of the house."
The elf sighed in relief as he finally passed the border to Darkshore.

"That was too close..." the druid muttered to Taelani, the shock of a crossbow bolt having made her jumpy. "So unnerving to think they are this far in our lands."
