"Should I buy them now...?" inquired Linmarion.
Armanion growled from the headbutt, and his nose began to bleed badly. Before Morrowind could look up at him, he quickly moved to the side and hooked his arm around her neck, locking it there.

"No, they'll just spoil," Mary answered. "We'll use what we have first."

Frustrated, Morrowind rammed her elbow back against Armanion's sternum, attempting to break the ribs, or at least knock the wind out of him.

Linmarion nodded. "All right - let's go home."
Armanion snarled as she slammed into his ribs. He wasn't sure if something cracked or not; the adrenaline was blocking out all the pain. He tightened his grip around her neck, trying to force her to surrender.

"Alright," Mary answered, taking Linmarion's hand again for guidance.

Morrowind felt the arm choke down on her, cutting off her air supply. She had to act quickly. She bent at the waist, trying to pull her neck free through leverage.

Linmarion smiled, squeezing Mary's hand gently as he led her back home.
Armanion pressed harder on her neck for a second, trying to Morrowind to yield.

((The Soviets didn't have cosmonauts until the 60s, it's funny picturing a 1917 cosmonaut in a Victorian space suit.))

Mary smiled. She liked the feel of Linmarion's hands. She'd come to appreciate them so much more after losing her sight.

Morrowind reached down, between her legs, and grabbed onto Armanion's, before finally pulling them out from under him.

Armanion yelped in surprise, but quickly spun Morrowind around in mid-air so that she was under him when they fell.
Linmarion opened the door to the house. "Here we are." he said.

"Well you can make her sacrifice worth it by getting out of here." She said. "Come on." She began to creep away deeper into the forest.

The impact was enough to shake Armanion's grip on Morrowind's neck, and she quickly broke free. She swung an elbow back, bashing in her opponent's nose a second time.

Taelani nodded and followed the druid as silently as she could, staying in the shadows and trying to avoid detection.

Armanion gasped as he heard a crack in his nose, and it started bleeding even more quickly.
Roaring in anger, he pushed down hard on Morrowind, keeping her completely pinned to the floor. "I think you've lost."

"WE should be getting close to a friendly settlement here soon." She whispered as she continued to walk quietly and carefully.

"I can't lose!" Morrowind hissed, pulling her feet up between her and Armanion, and using ever fiber of muscle she had to pry him off.

"I'm going to have to find a new identity..." Taelani muttered sadly. "If Lady Whisperwind has betrayed me to the savages, then I can't let anyone know who I really am."

Morrowind pressed up with her legs, barely managing to push Armanaion off, and then immediately rlling over on top of him. She struck him across the face with her elbow and pressed her other arm down onto her neck with all her weight.

Armanion gagged as the air began to leave him, but he quickly kicked upwards with his legs to throw her off. His hands moved up to hers, holding them from damaging him any further.

Once again, with her hands unusable, Morrowind bashed her forehead into Armanaion's nose.
"I'm never going to give up..." she growled, looking Armanion in the eye as she tried to headbutt him again.

"Well, neither do I, so I guess we're screwed." growled Armanion in turn, moving his head back to avoid her headbutt then headbutting Morrowind.

"Or I can just knock you unconscious," Morrowind retorted exhaustedly, smashing her forehead against Armanion's, trying to knock him out, or at least make him dizzy enough to get an advantage. It hurt her as well, however, and she knew she didn't have much fight left in her.

Armanion swore loudly, shaking his head as he began to get dizzy. He headbutted Morrowind in the forehead and then her nose, before letting go of one of her hands and punching her hard in the stomach.

Morrowind blinked, feeling lightheaded, and barely able to breathe after the punch to the stomach. However, she was still far from giving up, so, using her now free arm, she struck Armanion in the temple as hard as she could.
