The bear entered the tent and nuzzled up against Valamra, absorbing the tears into his fur, then growled happily, the closest thing a bear could come to a purr.

Frostbite nuzzled against her face again, absorbing the tears, then licked her face. He turned around and nudged Areon towards her.

He was hearing the whole conversation. As soon as he heard Areon say, "I'm here", a single tear dripped from his eye and onto the rock. It was the last thing he said to Mantaria. He started sobbing now, and looked up at the dark, star-studded sky... "Mantaria"...

Areon wouldn't leave Valamra's side now, wanting to make sure nothing happened. He sat close to Valamra, keeping his gaze on everything, trying to help Valamra feel safer.
