Areon looked at Valamra curiously for a moment, thinking he heard her speak, though dismissing it.
"To stop all of the pain..," Areon whispered to himself, looking at Valamra for a long moment. He leaned in and kissed her lightly on the cheek, hoping her dream would become more peaceful.
Suddenly the hunter ran in, shaking him before Areon swatted him away, saying he was awake.
"What are you talking about!" Areon whispered, trying not to wake up Valamra.

"Listen to her dammit!" He sighed, guessing only his elven ears could hear.
"Valamra, listen, it's a dream, it's not true, wake up!" and started fetching a hot water bottle to place next to her head.

"Be quiet!" Areon whispered, "you're going to wake her!" Areon said, trying to get the hunter out. He hoped he could find a way to comfort Valamra, not wanting her to be in so much pain.

Areon felt a tear run down his cheek, then realized something. He took out the medallion from before that Valamra hadn't kept, placing his hand on her. Areon felt the magic in the medallion begin to spark, feeling some of her nightmares and pain become drained into him.
"It is my burden... to bear..,"

"Just... something I've had," Areon whispered back, staring at the ground now, seeing ocassional tears hitting the ground from his face.

Areon took his dagger out again, staring at the silver blade. He looked in the metal to see his reflection, feeling worse every second, especially since he had absorbed a good part of Valamra's pain.

The half-orc groaned painfully, the tissue not healed completely, and several wounds that had closed were still agonizing. He coughed up a bit of blood and opened his eyes.
"W-Where am I?" he coughed again, rubbing his chest in the spot the arrow had forced through.
