"It's alright, just the fur," Areon said, gently patting Valamra's back.

Areon suddenly got up, grabbing the fur blankets and throwing them into the fire.
"There, no more fur," Areon said, sitting back down. He couldn't help but begin to hate himself slightly more, knowing if he had just stayed with Valamra earlier... none of this would have happened.
"I am a guardian.. for eternity,"
Areon thought to himself, shutting his eyes.
