Location: Shadowprey
Suddenly everyone around Mary began to flee in terror, screaming and crying as they fled from the tent. Mary panicked, not knowing what going on as she followed. She stepped out, looking around for somewhere safe, wishing Linmarion was with her.
Character: Base & Co.
Location: Stonetalon
"I don't think they'd be in any danger," the druid answered. "The only ones at any risk would be ourselves, and I don't think the risk would be very great."
Base began making his way back into Desolace, heading for Shadowprey for information and supplies. He also wanted to see if Moonhowl was staying there, as she had said she had personal reasons for going to Jaedenar.

Kali saw the prey step out and moved into the light, her drake, still in the hawk form taking flight. She altered the shadow cloak, making it seem to the prey that she was the one most likely to save them. "
Over here! Quickly, the city is under attack!
" She called, approaching her quickly.

Garos nodded and looked down at Brightscale. "Go visit Tza'tali and Yo'kuno little Brother." He told the raptor who nodded, then stood and padded over to their tent. He looked over at the druid. "So what do we have to do?" The half-orc asked, looking at him.

Mary nodded fearfully. The elf seemed so comforting. Like she knew what was going on and could help. Mary quickly ran over to her, hoping that he instincts were right.
Character: Ji'jiri
Location: Stonetalon
"Well, first of all, you'll need to enter the dream," Ji nodded. "So whether you prefer to go into a trance or try to sleep, just start dreaming again. And then once you are dreaming, I will try to enter. Once you feel me, let me in."

Good girl.
" Kali cooed, and saw a flash of fear before she drove the human's face into the wall, the plaster cracking, knocking her out. "Simpleton." Kali muttered, picking her up and moving off towards the edge of town, summoning her drake to meet her there. The blood elf looked down and saw blood leaking from the girl's nose and looked around quickly before she leaned over and licked it off, shuddering a little. "Mm, you taste good little girl... might have to keep you alive for longer then I planned." She said with a small laugh, moving quicker.

"Alright." Garos said, a little confused as he dropped into a cross-legged crouch and took a deep breath before dropping easily into a trance, reaching that point between deep sleep and the Dream fairly easy.

Ji nodded and sat next to the half-orc, easily slipping away into the Emerald Dream. Now he watched as the half-orc beside him shimmered and faded in and out, and waited for the dream to start.

The dream started the same as always: Him standing above Garos, his axe held upwards, the half-orc's metal arm shattering as She approached at a walk. Garos said something, some final taunt, summoning the power for the final strike, feeling the axe as it struck him, cutting his body almost in half, seeing Her cackling as she struck, her hand ripping into his chest, tearing out his Heart and lifting it up to take a bite.
Then the final strike going off, his eye seeing only white as His body was destroyed, She screaming in rage and despair. Then.... nothingness... but wait.. what was that... an offer? To return... but at what cost....
Garos groaned in the real world, his body shaking as the dream continued.
Something in front of him... eyes like fire... a maw.... an illusion of a massive insect seated in a great web.... No.. not a web... A throne made of the bones of the World... a voice like death and destruction echoing....
Garos roared, dropping out of the trance and snapping upright, staring around in wide eyed fear.

Kali moved quickly, the fear and anger she had sowed earlier still in effect, making it easier for her to reach the edge of town and tie the girl to her Drake. "Let's go to our new home, we need to make my new wife comfortable." Kali laughed, leaning down to kill the human girl as the Drake launched itself skyward.

Moonhowl had hid her children when the warlock had come. Lighthowl hid her face in her mother's fur, but Ragehowl looked on, slightly intrigued.

Ji'jiri cursed. He had tried to enter the dream, but the half-orc apparently hadn't noticed or was unable to let him enter. He slipped back into his body and stood.
"Well, that did go very well..." he grunted.

Garos was panting, trying to calm himself again and looked over at the druid. "Sorry... I don't..." He shook his head and took a deep breath. "It's always like that, no matter what I do, I can't control the dream, it just goes on and I'm there for the ride." He told the druid, looking away in shame at his own weakness.

Kali sang a little song to herself, absently running her hands over the human, looking through her pockets to make sure there wasn't anything on her that could be used to track them both.

"Don't worry about it..." Ji nodded. "We're just going to need to find a stronger druid, I think. It's a shame so many of them are dead..."
Base saw the city of Shadowprey ahead, and continued to make his way there at a brisk pace.

Moonhowl stuck her head out of her hiding spot to look. "I-I think she's gone," she said, "comon."
Ragehowl and Lighthowl followed their mother.

Kali smiled as they left Desolace behind and began to fly over Stonetalon Mountains, the warlock singing quietly to herself, looking down at the human tied up in front her every once in a while. She had to admit, she wanted her to wake up so that she could zap the girl with her spells, putting her back to sleep and draining energy out of her.

Garos nodded at the troll druid, and sighed before standing and stretching.

Tza'tali groaned and woke up. Her body felt tingly and she smiled, remembering last night. She glanced over at Yo, who was still asleep, her arm laying across his face. The shaman smiled at him then walked over to the fire. "Hey," she said with a wave to Ji and Garos. She sat down next to Garos and smiled, blushing slightly. "Have a good night guys?"
Praey continued to sleep deeply, being totally exhausted. Her head was resting on Wrex's chest, and she snored lightly.

Garos smiled back at Tza'tali, a little strained and slid his arm around her. "It was an.. interesting one." He told her and looked over at Yo who was still asleep, then across at Praey and Wrex. "Good to see Base found them." He said quietly.

Base finally arrived in Shadowprey, where he restocked on arrows and explosive materials. He noticed Moonhowl and approached her.
"Oh... Hello there... Where'd you get the kids?" he chuckled. "And we're almost ready to go to Jaedenar, if you still want to come."

Moonhowl bit her lip. She had wanted to go, but, now... "I'm sorry," she said, "but I have to watch over my children for now." She nodded. "Good luck, though."

Kali growled as the drake was forced skyward, a patrolling group of wyverns flying past underneath them heading for Shadowprey.
I still need time so....
She laughed, placing curses on the riders and their mounts, curses which would detonate when they landed, causing more confusion and destruction in the city.
