Areon flinched, shocked that Valamra seemed to apparently be awake.
"I need to not say these things out loud,"
Areon thought, deciding perhaps she would forget.
Character: Valan

Valan saw a large opening, his eyes glaring down a tunnel, tracks entering it.
"You will be a powerful opponent indeed if this is a warlock,"
Valan thought, walking forward, "but not strong enough still," he said.

Location: Jaedenar
The group finally arrived at the prison.
"Hmm..." Ji muttered.
"Huh?" Base asked, turning to his son.
"It seems that whatever evil was here is gone now..." Ji nodded.
"Gone where?" Ja'kala asked, looking around.
"I don't know," Ji shook his head.
Suddenly a long wail from from nearby.
"By the spirits..." Ji muttered, moving to the sound. "It's a ghost."
Base nodded. There, in the prison cell, was a faint image, roughly humanoid, and its face was the picture of anguish.
"I think I can help it..." Ji nodded.
"Do weh realleh want ta?" Ja asked.
"Of course," Ji answered, turning to the spirit. "Who are you?"
"Mooonhowl?" the spirit cried.
"You're Moonhowl?" Ja'kala asked.
"No," Base shook his head. "I've seen Moonhowl. I don't know who this is."
"Mooooonhooowl! How could you?" the spirit moaned. "Whyyyyy?"
Ji'jiri stared, puzzled by the spirit.
"It seems that whoever this is was hurt by Moonhowl in some way..." he nodded. "Enough to keep him chained to this life."
"Hmmm..." Base paused. "Then there's not much we can do, is there?"
"Well... I might try going into a trance and contacting her..." Ji answered.
"Well, let's give dat a shot den," Ja nodded.
Ji nodded back, sat cross-legged, ignoring the wails, and tried to reach through the dream to Moonhowl.

"Are you sure about this?" Kevin said laying the scythe down and pulling out his broadsword.
"Would I have brought you all the way out here for nothing." Sylos said. Kevin nodded and stabbed the blade with his own and there was a blinding light. When it faded his sword was gone but there was now a golden scythe before him.
"It.....worked." He said picking the blade up. Sylos just smiled.
"Remember what I said." He said then slowly faded away. Kevin laid the scythe over his shoulder and started to walk off.
"You ok Chaos?" He asked. She stood back up and walked off into the forest. Kevin just shrugged and took off back to the city and walked back into the inn entering there room again.

"I don't think she'd mind if I went to sleep here, I mean, we are going to get married,"
Areon thought.

Valan could hear a wail, rushing to it.

Moonhowl slept peacefully, then something began to tap into her dreams.

Ragehowl tapped the human on the shoulder. "Wake up," he said. "I lost a lot of blood because of you, you had better wake up."

Mary shuddered awake, screaming in agony at the burns and breaks in her body. She was still missing more than 50% of her blood volume, and quickly grew quiet again, her body too weak to repair itself, curse or not.

"It's Base's son, Ji'jiri..." Ji answered. "There is a spirit here screaming your name, and we are trying to put it to rest. Any ideas?"

Areon bit his lip, trying not to yelp.
"Wait, scratches that deep don't infect do they?" Areon thought, his eyes widening as he gently pulled away Valamra's claws.

Valan saw what appeared to be some trolls ahead, readying his axe.

Kali moved through her new base, putting the finishing touches on her wards and spells, making sure the building, built into the side of a mountain would remain safe and invisible to prying eyes. The warlock sighed, wishing she could have kept the human girl alive, as she was quite good at being a battery, but knew that her death had been needed. She stopped at one point to look down at her Knights, the three practicing silently in the courtyard, learning to better use their weapons.
The warlock laughed a little and felt hunger, and looked around for her Drake, needing to go hunting... and smiled, as she knew the hunting was good in this area.

Areon felt Valamra's soft paw trying to groom him, even though he was human. He wasn't sure what else she would do, though still rather worried about the deep scratches.

He thought then tried using the light to calm her.

"Wh- Bob?" Ji answered, confused. "I don't want to ask you to do anything you don't want to, but do you have any ideas on how to release him? Perhaps you could speak to his spirit or something? Maybe he'd listen..."

Valan let loose a bloodthirty battle shout, attempting to freeze his enemies in fear and startle them as he ran forward screaming a string of uncomprehensible words.
