Areon smiled, lightly kissing Valamra a few times, wishing he could do more.
"I wonder what you're thinking about," Areon said, keeping Valamra close.

Valan saw a dagger, reaching his plate glove up and catching it right before his throat, trying to push it away as the troll pressed hard to get to him.
"You should know too well of how I fought," Valan said, raising his leg and thrusting it back, smashing his plate boot into the troll's groin.

Areon had to try and stop Valamra, knowing she might end up cutting him and perhaps infecting him if she tried to groom him.

Kali sat on top of the post, her leg drawn up to her chest, a massive smile on her face as she watched the Drake and the Knight's destroy what was left of the rest of the camp. They were also stacking the bodies like so much cordwood, leaving them to the side. She looked down at the people tied to the posts; several paladin's and priest's, and she moaned a little, knowing how much fun she was going to have draining them dry of all their Light.
"Objective complete; The Knights are tested, and work perfectly, and I have enough food for a while." She said with a smile, her eyes glowing with the fel energy as she set the extra bodies on fire with a wave of her hand. "We'll blow up the entire post when we leave!" She called down to her servants who nodded.

"I don't want to trust you..." the spirit answered. "Every single time... every time... that I have trusted someone with my heart, including you, I have been betrayed. I don't think I can believe you..." he paused. "You'll forget... you already love this new man after all... You'll forget me, and you'll love him instead..." he answered. "No... If I ever pass on to whatever cruel life the universe chooses to give me after this... limbo... I do not want to get my hopes up again, because they will be crushed. I will not wait for you."

"And if you know so much about me," Base answered with a grunt. "You should know that I know every trick in the book..." he nodded, stepping back, thankful that he had chosen to wear a cup.

Valan spun around and slashed his axe, though the troll narrowly dodging and his blade smashing into the side of the cave wall, large rocks flying off with dust.
"Get up! Fight me like a true warrior!" Valan spat, backhanding the troll before pulling his axe out of the cave wall.

She drifted away, saying this one last thing; "I

"I don't have time for this," he set down the human. "Take care of her," he yelled to the combatanants. "I've got some hunting to do."
With that he ran back to the last room, and began to study the magic.

The spirit cried as well, beginning to fade away into the nether.
Character: Base & Co.
Location: Jaedenar
"True warriors don't win fights," Base answered with a grin, before reaching into his pouch and flinging a handful of powdered glass into the human's eyes. He quickly followed this off with a kick to the human's wrist, knocking the axe away.
Ja'kala was quick to recover the axe, sliging his bow back onto his shoulder.
Ji'jiri, meanwhile, woke up knowing that the spirit had passed and feeling rather depressed about what was said.
"Wait, what's going on?" he asked, seeing the fight.

"Oh," Areon said, nodding, "alright, I can try and arrange that soon," he said, remembering how his parents didn't have that honor because A'dal's magic had forced him to not care, having spent nights secretely grieving while Valamra had been asleep for weeks after that.
"So.. what did you dream of?" Areon asked.

Location: Jaedenar
Valan roared in anger and pain, blinking several times to get the powder out, each blink painful, but clearing his vision each time.
"I'll enjoy torturing you and your damned friends!" Valan yelled, taking out a shortsword and going into a defensive stance while backing away, knowing he needed to evaulate the situation better before making another move.

"I don't think so..." Base answered, pulling the pin off another grenade before chucking it at the human.
Immediately after the explosion, a huge bear tackled the human, pinning him to the ground.

Areon looked down shamefully, knowing it was because of him that caused so much pain.
"Sometimes I think it'd be best if I had just died back at that crater..,"
Areon thought, knowing that Valamra wouldn't have suffered so many hardships then.
"I'm sorry..," Areon said faintly, wondering perhaps if he should for now purchase another room so Valamra could be by herself, thinking she perhaps didn't want him around because he had caused all of this.

A gash of blood was covering Valan's forehead, though having a bloodthirsty look in his eyes as he screeched, stabbing his shortsword to the bear's side multiple times, not planning on stopping until the druid had got off of him. He followed those actions up by a violent headbutte.
