"Don't do that," Jack said to Artemis as he brushed his hand away, "I've only let some of my ex's girlfriends do that, and you don't fit into that category," he said. He turned to see Lighthowl sitting next to him, then she looked away.
"Something wrong?" Jack asked, fixing his hair since he thought there might be something odd with his appearance.

"Ack," Jack groaned when the holy bolt had hit him, "don't do that or I'll make sure to push you off this bridge," Jack said, getting up and taking his claymore out as he walked across the wooden bridge to the Barrens.

When they reached the top Lexya walked off.
Child, one of them is following you.

"Crap." She replied.

The hunting party had found the Kodo, the creature on it's last legs. The leader looked back at Garos who nodded, stepping forward and spoke soothingly to it, promising they would be using everything from the creature and to allow them to end it's pain. The beast looked at the shaman for a moment then made a low sound, lowering it's head. "Thank." He said quietly and drove his axes down into it's neck, killing it cleanly.
The party quickly fell on it, skinning and chopping the creature up to be easily killed. Garos pulled the choicer organs; the heart, lungs, and a few others and tossed them to Brightscale, the raptor gorging himself quickly. Once they were finished, the leader of the party passed Garos a bundle and the group headed off back towards Shadowprey.
Brightscale nuzzled his shoulder and he laughed, clapping the raptor on his back. "Yes, we're going back to Yo'kuno and Tza'tali." He told him, and the raptor made a happy sound.

Lighthowl opened her mouth to speak, but close it, too shy to talk.

"Here we go then." Artemis mumbled to Jack, drawing his weapons.

Jack made it to the end, turning and waiting for the others to arrive.
"Alright, so are you all tagging along or are we parting ways here?" Jack asked, leaning on his claymore against the ground.

"Good to hear then," Jack said with a smile, standing back to his full height once again, "then let's set off, we'll have to find an alternative route to the Eastern Kingdoms, so this trip will take a few days," he said.
