Base sat by Mary's bedside, absently watching her while absently drinking from his flask, more out of habit than any actual desire to drink.
"Yo dad," Ja nodded, entering the tent. " 'ow long weh gonna stay here? Weh kilt da wohlock, righ'?"
Base nodded, setting his flask down.
"Yeah, we did..." he answered. "I suppose we can go home soon if you want," he paused, gesturing to the sleeping woman. "Just figured I'd look after her for a while. The Horde is dangerously understaffed medically..." he nodded. "I mean, they have a few shaman and priests, and they're all well and good, but they don't have nearly enough
doctors
. People who know how the body works and how to fix it."
Mary groaned and said the word "hungry."
"Interesting..." Base nodded, making some notes on her chart.
"Alrigh'," Ja nodded with a half-smile. "Jus' dun keep us here too long, kay?"
Base nodded with a chuckle. "Of course not... I'm not big on charity work anyway. I just want to make sure she'll be able to pull through once I'm gone."
