"That's good." she said smiling. "But i also need to test you and see what other magics you can do."
"Alright then to test you we'll need to head out to the woods for awhile and we'll see how well you do." she then turned and began walking back off toward the woods.

They finally reached a spot within the woods that was far enough from town so that they couldn't disturbe them, and yet open enough for a small sparing ring. "Alright this is where we will train." she said. "Get ready because your first test isn't going to be easy."
She snapped her fingers and summoned a felguard. She then quickly gave it some instructions, speaking demonic so her young pupile couldn't understand her.
"Alright. Your first test is a fight against this fel guard. Use any magical tricks and techniques you've got in your arsenal. And don't hold back because if your not careful." she then took her hand and made a cutting motion accross her throat.

She walked out of the fighting zone and stood next to Ragehowl. "BEGIN." she shouted.

Ragehowl chuckled a little. "Good luck," he said, clapping Sparkhowl on the shoulder before backing off a little.

Sparkhowl made his way to the other side of the ring and changed into his half elf form.
"Bring it." He said and the demon charged him bringing his axe down. He barley had enough time to doge it and threw a shadow bolt at the demon and knocked it back a little but quickly charged again. "Crap." He thought as he continued to doge the swipes at him each one getting closer to landing a hit. "Crap." He thought and jumped out of the way before charging a massive shadow ball and threw it at him sending the demon threw a tree.

Squeancey watched, ready to intervine at anymoment if neccesary. Her student continued casting shadow bolts, but she knew the felguard would learn from this fight quickly and be able to easily evade them soon.

"silence Ragehowl. He must figure that out on his own. Remember this is a test of his skill and abilities." she said not taking her eyes off the fight.

Sparkhowl was about to say something when the demon jumped back up.
"Aww come on." He said as it charged him he doged but the demon quickly kicked him and he hit the tree.
"Improvise easy for him to say." He thought then looked up at the trees.
"Only got one shot." He thought as the demon charged him again and shot one shadow bolt a a hanging limb and it fell smashing the demon into the ground.

Squeancey smiled at her students quick thinking, but she knew he might not have thought of it if Ragehowl hadn't told him. She continued to watch the demon making sure it stuck to her instructions as she had ordered.

The demon just shook the limb off and stood back up.
"You know now I understand why people use these things." He said and had to side step another swing this time it came an inch from his foot.
"Crap." He said to himself as he started to shadow bolts at it again trying to think of something.

Squeancey saw that her apprentice was on the defensive. She knew that this fight might not last much longer as Sparkhowls Attacks slowly weakened and the felguard only got strong.

"God damit just die already." He muttered seeing the demon getting closer. He went to throw another bolt but nothing happened. He looked up and the guard had his axe raised above him about to bring it down.
"Crap." Sparkhowl thought as the demon brought the axe down.

Ragehowl readied a spell that would stop the felguard, if Sparkhowl didn't think of something fast.

Squeancey saw that her apprentice was done. She snapped her fingers and the demon disappeared. "Good job." she said smiling at him. "I remember when i first faced a fel guard. I couldn't think of what to do. I think that also i was so afraid of it that i had peed my pants." she said laughing at herself.
"But what was i expecting? That you would do worse then i did when i was five?" she asked jokingly. "Well anyway you did really well, but it looks like you need to get some energy back. Come on we'll all go get something to eat."
