To'ka Treeshift

"Your late." The voice cut through To'ka's head and he started in on excuses, but hadn't shifted back into his elf form yet.
Sorry commander, but was attacked by...
He was cut off as she slammed a fist onto her desk. "Go to your elf form." She said quietly and he shifted, standing at attention as she looked up at him and shook her head. "Who was it?" She asked, sounding tired.
"The Shadowleaf children." He answered, and shifted a little as she looked him over, her eyes lingering on his right wrist and he looked down, seeing the impression of the chain even on his normal form. He coughed, and put one hand over it, focusing for a moment and sending healing energy into it.

To'ka Treeshift

"Trainee Treeshift... I can't help you with it." His Commander said quietly and To'ka nodded and took a seat in front of her desk. "I know, all they have to do is point at me and say 'look he's a troll, of course he attacked us'." The troll-elf said quietly, putting his head in his hands. "Well... I can help with that." She said, and he looked over at her with a raised eyebrow.
The commander tossed him a scroll and he picked it up then read it, considered for a moment then looked back at her. "Best if I go away for a while eh?" He asked humourlessly, tossing the scroll back and she nodded. "Yes. It's rough mission, but it will get you away from them for a while, and we'll put a few more guards near your home... in case someone goes for your mother or one of your sisters." She said and he nodded standing. "I'll just go by supplies and get ready to leave then." He said quietly and left her office.

"Well, I like your hair to," he said, gesturing to her rather long hair.

Tyralon continued kissing Maria, not sure how long they had been doing this now. He didn't care, he just wanted to be in this moment, everything else seemingly melting away.
