Is there an addon or anything that will let me shrink the size of my bags when I open them? Tired of them taking up a nice chunk of my screen

Try using the bartender addon
it helps you manage your bag slots, putting all of them on a grid box. Then you can set up different 'groups' for different kinds of loot you carry (like BoE equip, Soulbound stuff, trash items, reagents, etc).
Since i have found it, it´s always the first addon i download and reconfigure after reinstalling the game.

I don't really know, I've searched on curse and wowinterface for you, without results. But I use
Combuctor
. It's an all-in-one bag addon that looks a lot like the normal bag windows. You can both move and resize it in a few clicks.

Bartender wouldn't help much for bags. You could try ArkInventory as well.

Combuctor is great. I started using it recently after OneBank/Onebag stopped getting updated. You can resize it, search your items live, have tabs for different item types, etc. Truly a time saver.

I much prefer dominos than bartender and bagNon rather than oneBag.
but all this does is reduce the bag button bar on the bottom to one rather than 5....even then i don't have that displayed.
What I do have setup is this : the "\" key bound to open the backpack, which will open bagnon, showing all my bag slots as one big bag.
bagNon will also allow you to resize/scale the display of the bags and also toggle displaying of each bag in the display.

I switched to arkinventory when onebag/onebank stopped working at the last big patch. You can make catagories for things, shrink the bag space taken and even chose not to display empty slots if you wish.

When the ArkInventory author learns to code, the addon will be good. It may be very flexible, but taking up astronomical amounts of CPU time and garbage churn for a bag display is inexcusable. The thing has a bigger performance impact than most of my combat-heavy addons combined.
+1 vote Combuctor.
