Hi, I'm having a real tough time dpsing while moving.
My normal dps on stationary fights like the ones in voa is little over 6k. My dps plummets to about 4.2k in ToC with all the moving around and switching targets. (Lord Jar fight comes to mind)
I typically try to stick to: moonfire, swarm, and than continue with wrath/starfire depending on the eclipse. I'm looking for tips regarding how to best keep up dps while moving.

typhoon, for 1 talent point that would go into a negligible dps talent you get a useful knockback for pvp/soloing/gluth type fights, and a decent spell usable while moving
also, if you cast the second highest rank of moonfire for the direct damage it won't overwrite the higher rank's dot so for prolonged movement you can cast the highest rank for the dot then spam the 2nd highest ank for the DD
unfortunately that's about all we have, typhoon, moonfire (rank 13) while 14 ticks away, starfall and treants if they're off cd

Tuskarr's Vitality
, or any
boot
speed enchants. do not take the run speed meta.
also try to minimize movement. the only time you need to move in jaraxxus, afaik, is when you have legion flame, or when an infernal is inferno-ing(?). in which case you just need to stand at a certain range away from the inferno, or any other player.

I find my self moving a lot, but maybe I'm not doing it right.
I start off at the center, but when volcano adds come to center, I move. The boss usually gets moved to the other side, which means after I'm done with adds, I gotta run back to center, etc.
Any tips for that specific fight?
On faction champions, I usually can stand in center and move less ... repositioning after fear, stuff like that.

Move while refreshing dots. Typically when infernals pop, either you can blast them from where you are, or they pop on you and you have to move but have a target to dot up (or you are too far but then that's partially the fault of your initial positionning)

When you move from danger, move 'just enough' to get away from it. Don't move clear across the room. And only move when IN danger, not just near it. If you're not taking damage or are in someway going to be taking damage soon, sit still.
Try and look at how your guild does a fight and start in a position that will reduce the requiered movement throughout the fight.

To be honest.. i dont se the probl.. use your movment times to renew the dots.. as stated before. thats what i do.. works good..
mite not always be realy time for them to be renewed.. but why waist time.. and even if its 5-6 secs left on them.. saves u time.. ofc u use more mana.. but mana atleased for me raidbuffed isnt realy an issue..
good luck
