There are problems with pet pathing on Madness (he wont attack corruption).
Only advantage you may have on Spine, but its a slight one.
On everything else you fall behind every other spec even without issues.

There are problems with pet pathing and pets in general
Also Kill Command can still be parried for some stupid reason
Sorry, I had to do it.

BM is at least 2-3K DPS behind SV on almost every fight.
It can do pretty well on some fights by lining up BW with bonus damage phases (Zonozz, Hagara), but otherwise there's not much reason to spec BM.

That lining up is what gets you 2-3k dps behind other specs, its an absolute must.
Its a gain for your dps, but no real gain for the group.

Whart are you talking about? lining it up is absolutely a gain for your group, a slong as you are outputting dps on the target thats the priority its a gain.
It's (primarily) on madness you can pad your numbers without it mattering (during cataclysm cast).
2-3k dps is definately within the margin of player skill and variance for different classes /specs - so BM is definately viable in DS, though at a disadvantage to an equally skilled playing of SV on the non-burn phase fights (where they have an advantage over SV, as they have a higher on demand output).

If you are lining up stuff (depends on cooldown lenghts) with cataclysm cast you clearly dont benefit the group - you would if you lined it up with corruption as this is the priority target. If you do it with cataclysm you wont have it up for next Corruption. Killing corruption asap opens new posibilities (focusing adds easier, single impale only, easier aoe healing for impact) - killing Arm/Wing before any cataclysm even occurs included. (i meant normal, i am sure hc is very similar).
Also, i am talking about zonozz and hagara - it increases your personal dps, but nothing but.

Margin of player skill wont help if you get problems with pets - i mean, if you pet does wierd stuff and not the stuff you order it to do nothing will help. SV and BM "rotations" are very similar so i cant see anything skill can do anyway.
SV has advantage on both burn and non-burn fights, MM even bigger on burns.
