Beginner..kinda..back from a year off. What to do?

So decided to play again, after a year off. Did not buy WotLK..yet, so I have 4 toons capped at lvl 70. No guild and mostly PvE. What new things are out there to do? New quests not in the expansion? Hows inscription? What about new mounts? Anything worth getting? Or should I just rep grind until I feel like getting the expansion?

If you've already got 4 capped toons why would you not get the xpac when it only costs as much as a couple of months play-time?
You'll find 70 a quieter place than it used to be...
