Duo leveled with my friend, He was Druid im a Shaman. Pretty much, any 2 hybrid classes can do well IMO.

Duo leveling is almost pointless now, until you get to Northrend. Exp has been buffed massively for old content. I've gotten my warrior from 60-65 in a couple days since LK, while that same gap took me several days on each my paladin, druid, and shaman.

For the best combo, get two DPS classes. Tank/healer combos are only really useful for instancing, which you probably won't do much of with many people doing new content.

Hybrids are nice, but every class has survival mechanisms.

Rogue/druid is pretty good combo, since you can both stealth, and complement each other well in sticky situations. Also, you should have very limited downtime.

Clothies tend to work very well in groups (compared to solo)--so any combination of mage, priest, warlock would go nicely.

Ret paladins and Fury warriors are obscenely fun to level, I've found. The firepower and survivability available since 3.0.2 makes these two classes powerhouses for leveling.

I would not recommend hunter or shaman, because you'd be tripping over each other. Good for solo play though.
