As far as trinkets go, what about:
Spark of Life
Heroic HoS
Winged Talisman
Heroic HoL
The Egg of Mortal Essence
Emblems of Heroism
The 2 trinkets you listed are good trinkets, but as a resto druid in the 20 secs of use for the troll trinket, I would have to spam combos of regrowth,nourish, swiftmend, healing touch to get a full 5 stack to make the 2 min cooldown of the trinket useful. It is a much better pally/shaman trinket imo.
The soul preserver one is also good, but only healing touch and WG cost more than 800 mana. I prefer the 26mp5 from the winged talisman providing more mana constantly rather than waiting on a proc, including a 326 increase of healing power every 2 mins.
The egg procs alot. Provides alot of haste reducing GCD's and spell cast time constantly.
I dont have the spark of life, but the equip and the proc both seem highly useful to resto's.

-sunwukung- pally/shaman dont benefit of spirit so that trinket is druid/priest trinket.
DUH! Didn't notice the equip bonus. Better priest than druid trinket, but nice spirit buff.

Until you are far into epics, MP5 beats out spirit. A general goal for raiding is to get to 300mp5 and let spellpower go up after that. Druids that refuse to wear cloth are fail. Why not take the hands from hero Drak while you are farming for your ring? Why not wear the chest from exaulted Kirin Tor as all JC's are going to do the same? There are many cloth drops that we can use that help a lot. If you are worried about armor you can do one of two things. Get a better tank or farm gold so you have enough money to stop bitching about repair costs. In addition there are blue cloth and leather bracers that are better thant he epics you posted. All of these come from easy bosses in Hero's.
