why would you worry about that at the moment? At first, you should gear up ready for raids, i.e. farm heroics for gear/badges

Welcome to the forums!
First of all, his guides are incomplete. Some items aren't even listed, so I recommend using the database to organize items. Second, he uses a weighting system which is fine and dandy, but if you don't know how the system works or agree with it then it is useless.
For an example set of filters similar to what I used to find items when starting out, click
here
. This example is for chest items.
Note: One can go further to show only Heroic drops, or rewards from reputation, crafted items, etc. Experiment with the filters and click the columns to sort them from highest to lowest or vice versa.
When you have a few items which meet your criteria, use the Item Comparison tool to help put things into perspective. Good luck!
