Best race for rogues??

As for leveling from 1-85 as a new character for me with the new changes for cata.
I went with a
Night Elf
since they get an increase to dodge, had no trouble getting him too level 12 in a few hours wasn't using any boa gear.
Though if you do use BOA gear then you should do the following:
Main-Hand:
Venerable Dal'Rend's Sacred Charge
+
Enchant Weapon - Agility
Off-Hand:
Balanced Heartseeker
+
Enchant Weapon - Agility
Ranged:
Charmed Ancient Bone Bow
Helm:
Stained Shadowcraft Cap
Shoulders:
Stained Shadowcraft Spaulders
Chest:
Stained Shadowcraft Tunic
+
Enchant Chest - Greater Stats
Cloak:
Inherited Cape of the Black Baron
Ring:
Dread Pirate Ring
Trinket 1:
Swift Hand of Justice
Trinket 2:
Swift Hand of Justice

Since you're going all out, go with
Stealth
on cloak and
Arcanum of Torment
on the helm. The helm enchant only activates at 80, but you'll be wearing it until 85 anyway for the xp bonus.

I'm gonna say what I always say when it comes to picking race/gender on my characters.
I'll pick what I like, since it's me who's going to watch that behind for 85lvls and endgame :)

Well, this isn't too hard the best races for a rogue are Human (if you desire pvp), blood elf for just all round perfect alliance rogue of night elf for the hordes. However, personally i like both pve and pvp with that human works really good for me but the blood elf is really awesome. Night elf is very much soloing and that starts to get a bit boring at level cap so you know human if you like pvp and blood elf for pve.(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##This is a very old thread which may contain outdated advice from previous expansions that is just misleading now. Be careful not to bump very ancient threads.
