Best Tank Trinkets Combo Pre-Raid?

Porcelain Crab is actually a splendid trinket, it procs rather often and gives you a tremendous boost when it does, and you really don't have to watch for it at all (just continue your normal Death Strike spammy-ness.)
Heart of Thunder is a worthless trinket, it has less armor then ICC trinkets and it's on-use effect is practically useless.
After that it's a toss-up between Leaden Despair and Throngus's Finger, I personally keep both on hand and switch depending on fights.
Edit: Also I like to have the TB trinket which has some nice Mastery, and in some very magic-damage-oriented fights it's use can be pretty golden.

That's true, but my argument wasn't that they were good but rather that Heart of Thunder was bad, which I believe still holds.

Right now, I have
Mirror of Broken Images
and
Lifebound Alchemist Stone
. AMAZING trinket combo for a mastery stacking tank. They provide massive amounts of mastery, stamina, and magic damage mitigation. Best of all worlds.
These can both be obtained pre-raid.
Mirror of Broken Images
is obtained with 125 Tol Barad Commendations. (requires exalted w/ your sides Tol Barad faction)
Lifebound Alchemist Stone
is obtained by Alchemy.

Also: It's just as $%^&ty after the nerf, because it wasn't buffed. No matter how good it is relatively to ICC trinkets, it's still going to be just as crap when compared with any 346 tank trinket, and some DPS trinkets.

Assuming maximum uptime, Tia's Grace gives 0.8% dodge and 285 Mastery.
Porcelain Crab gives 1.6% percent dodge and assuming it procs every time it's off it's internal cooldown (which is pretty close to the case, or will be within the next ten hits (10% proc chance) either way it'll cancel out assuming maximum uptime on Tia's Grace) and a 1 minute 20 second ICD on proc (or so we think) puts Porcelain crab at 427.5 Mastery.
While I usually prefer static-stats, I think Porcelain Crab is pretty obviously superior.
