Once an item becomes soulbound to you, you can no longer:
Trade it to other players
Sell it on the Auction House
Mail it to anyone, even an alt on the same account
Put it in a guild bank
If you no longer need a soulbound item, your only options are:
Junk it
Sell it to a vendor (for exactly the same price as if it wasn't soulbound)
Disenchant it (if you're an enchanter of the required skill level)
Most quest rewards are soulbound as soon as you receive them.
