Really sucks to hear this happened to you, only thing I can suggest you do is to contact wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com and try to dispute it. I got actioned by a GM for something I said in party chat to my friend when I was reporting another guy dropping the f-bomb repeatedly in /say. After about a day, I got an e-mail back and they removed the action from my account cause the GM messed up.

I've had the same sort of issues once before. I recieved a mail, notifying me that my credit card would be suspended on an old account, unless I provided them with various information about myself. I figured it was probably an attempt to scam me, as the email had no information whatsoever about what the problem with my credit card was & I hadn't used the account for a while. However, I decided to check the old account & found that it was still active, which it wasn't supposed to be, so I froze it.
A few weeks later, I recieved a second email, stating that my credit card would be blocked from being used to make payments, unless I provided them with said info. So I decided to check out the email in closer detail & it seemed pretty legit. So I wrote back, answering their 5 questions as good as I could (3 of them were shots in the dark, since I had no idea what they were talking about) & got a reply saying, that in order for my CC to remain usable for making payments (rather crucial, since my current account is also using it & had a new 6-month period coming up), I would have to send them a fax with a photocopy of my ID etc.
So I wrote back, asking them for the third to clarify just exactly what the problem was, and tried to explain that doing what they had asked me seemed a bit annoying. Especially since I have no fax, photo copier or anything like it, meaning I would have had to pay someone else to do that for me.
I got another copy+paste reply back, simply stating that there was a problem & that they would be unable to do anything until they recieved said fax. After that I just said 'sod it', forgot about the whole thing and prayed that the payment on the current account would still go through. Fortunately it did & I never heard from them again. The only thing that has changed, is that I'm unable to reactivate my old account, since I can't add any payments to it.

Those of you here that have ever had a problem with your WoW account for whatever reason probably agree with this subject. Well, "NOW HEAR THIS!" Just recently my account was suspended due to the IP Tracker that Blizz does to catch power levelers caught my account for changing 2-3 different IP's in a single day. The reason for this is because I am in the US Navy. I have to go from my broadband wireless to my friends house to even a random hotel just to get a good internet connection. Therefore my IP address changes...
WTF Blizz?
Now I am trying to get my account back up and guess what I have to do? Check this little bit from an e-mail that I got instructing me on how I have to re-initalize my account...

Photo ID, Fax this paper? Who agrees with me that Blizzard has gotten down right redicoulous about this? And of course every time I try and call the help line I get either a robotic message from their lazy ass reps on how I have to "Check my e-mail" or (get this) call the help line and a message saying "We are unable to recieve your call at this time due to too many incomming customer call's. Please call back later."
Bottom line is, WoW is a great game. Too bad a &*!@ty company like Blizzard had to F*&k it all up. Anyone else have something like this happen to you?
I actually can't agree at all.
I had a problem whereby having not played or logged into my account for about 9 months - someone changed the password and started my Wrath trial.
3 months later I decided I wanted to play again - filled out the form on the Blizzard website and after 5 days I got an email saying it was reactivated, etc, etc the guy was really friendly.
A day later, when I tried to log-in, it kept crashing when trying to update (remember I hadn't updated since before Wrath had come out) - the guy on the phone was incredible. We had a chat about taking breaks from WoW. Our excitement over Diablo 3 and then he said, I'm going to disconnect the call, and call you back in order to lessen the cost to you and your mobile. Sure enough, 1 minute later, he had called back and he helped me finish it. Was super nice. I got a feedback survey to fill out for him and have him excellent scores.
Am not scared at all to ring Blizzard or WoW customer service or helplines.
You are just unlucky.
