Blizzard "removes" authenticator

I've had two blizz reps tell me that they have removed my authenticator, but, i am still asked for it, has this happened to anyone else, if so, what did you do to fix it?

can you still use it? or have you lost it?
I think it might be so that they removed so you don't have to use it when you log in to bnet.
From there, you could possibly disable it altogether.

You have to call them. Give them your Info and go threw the process.
