what makes you think the patch changes are to help you play PvP?
arena locks DO use drain mana, in drain teams it's a mainstay.
honestly, i hate posts like that. mindless, uneducated, pointless, non-constructive QQ. take it elsewhere.

in combination whit the instant succubus seduce.
its just a different play style then the drain and dot way.
In 1 vs 1 it can be very very effective. But again 1 vs 1 in a bg is not very likely.

no pvp in wow is balanced for duels (1v1) and it's way too early in season 5 to start claiming what doesn't work. i recognise the trend toward burst and away from drain teams but that doesn't mean that style is dead.

The primary reason that burst teams are the flavour of the month at the moment is because mid to high end pve gear is already common, anyone can get some. PVP gear takes more work and is newer, people don't have it.
Me, I have full lvl 80 PVE epics, only one lvl 80 PVP epic. For pvp im using an awful hodgepodge of brutal gear, T7/7.5, frostsavage, and deadly gear. I'm only running 260 resil, and I'm in a similar boat to everyone else.
Once we all get back to full pvp gears, the environment will change very, very rapidly, and you'll see healer teams rise again, and burst teams die.
Right now rogue/rogue is insane, They can kill me, and and almost any other caster in 3 seconds flat.
shammies/warlocks/priests/druids are instagibbed.
This won't last long :)
