Enjoy the back to back Bestial Wraths while you can, go BM. My main is a mage and my 3's comp is PMR and every single team we go against that has a BM hunter owns us. We're sitting around 1780 rating now.

Post patch I'm not sure which spec would win in arena, possibly BM still, as 18 seconds of not being able to be disabled is very nice, however if you're after utility then MM would probably suit you best.

Try this for the time being: 50/21/0 BM PvP

Highest ranked arena team in the world, sitting at 2154 rating, is a Holy Pally and a BM Hunter.

Holy Pally was picked purely because of their ability to survive the massive amount of burst going on in arenas ATM.

IMO Disc Priests do a slightly better job utility wise, and won't suffer from OOM issues like pally's would.

Yeah, you really should be stacking all the resilience you can as a disc priest. Survivability is a huge problem when they're focused.

yeah, disc priests are squishy without resil. once they get around 400 resil though, oh god the frustrations.

also, i use my raiding spec as my arena spec. I run with an arms warr and the dps is phenomenal.
