i just got back into the game but, are you saying that all the new enchants are bought through vendors now?
So far it seems that way, yes.
I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing. Especially since now maybe there won't be people charging an arm and a leg just to enchant one thing. No more "Enchanter LFW have sunfire, 500g, your mats."
But getting all of them with shards seems a little TOO easy. I don't see the problem with enchants being available without raids, but make it so people have to put in SOME work to get them.
