Yup, they don't care. They have spent nine years of their lives developing what has becoming the biggest (in every sense of the word) game on the planet... but they have left a little bug out of the test realm patch notes.
So they clearly don't care. At all.

Those 9-10k dps reports are for bosses with damage modifiers i.e. Thaddius and Loatheb. This is acceptable. Ill take that. What isnt acceptable and shows how much that Blizz doesnt care are these:

but seriously, my pet doesnt generate enough threat for cower to be of any use, so when i turn off growl, dont F-ing turn on cower, blizzard.

not sure about that one. Pets, especially cats, generate so much threat they have issues staying below the tanks WITH cower on.
*edit* just chewed on the first part of your statement. There is no good reason that clear data should be ignored to justify a nerf of this magnitude. Especially when the information provided is the exact opposite of the reasoning we're being given. Someone isnt being honest. Or... someone just chooses to ignore facts.
