"Hey, I was on vacation, not lookin' for ah fight" walking over to a nearby pack she set her gun down and began to strip. "Not my first choice of local, though, but tha only place I could afford, really."
Bare-naked, she pulled out what looked to be traveling clothes and began to dress. "Woulda liked Stranglethorn by good ol' Booty Bay, or even the coast of tha Barrens by Ratchet, but mercenary work don't pay like it used ta - not with all those self-proclaimed 'heroes' comin' back ta Kali and the Kingdoms and takin' the jobs I coulda had."
Dressed again and with a sigh, she turned back to the group. "So, you said you were headin' inland? Where abouts?"

"They were prithonerth." The darkfallen narrowed his eyes, at last accustomed to the light. First he observed the hooded figure of the elf - no, half elf. Then to the two women chained with light, and though they looked like darkfallen, he sincerely doubted they were. They liked the noble grace of his kind, and seemed more like ravening monster. Home brew, perhaps, as his new employer liked to call such creatures. He sniffed a little when he saw the third. A forsaken. Filthy, rotting things. He could never understand why they clung to their rotting flesh like they were sentimental rags. Pitiful.

Max conscientiously averted his eyes as the goblin dressed. When she had finished he looked to her once more, speculative and thoughtful, as if appraising something he had found in a shop. "...I'm heading to Dire Maul," he eventually said, watching her. "I'm after magic items, and figured if there's anywhere on this continent they'd be, it'd be around there."

"I had an assignment south of Dire Maul, once," Mizsey mused, "simple thing, jus' killin' ogres an' clearin' the area. Never been inside the place itself, though... Ya know, I heard ah rumor once that if ya kill their king the ogres in the place would shower you with all their riches, gold... jewels... alllllll the money..."
She licked her lips.
"Ya know, I think it's about time I called mah vacation off; this place is BORNING as fel anyway. Ya wouldn't mind if I tagged along with you know, would ya, cutie?"

The druid permitted Tristan to rub her head. She tilted it slightly towards him, but gave no other outward sign of her enjoyment.
Victor remained standing, watching the compass sway uncertainly. He had the look of absorption in himself, his eyes dim as though to peer into the past, his face long and, for the moment, looking very old and perhaps even weary. He suddenly shut the compass and pushed it into a pocket. Turning away he left the young pair, walked a few steps towards the prow of the ship and stopped again. Clasping his hands behind his back, he gazed into the dawning sky in silence.

Angela, meanwhile, had rubbed her unscathed neck for some time and was now in the process of getting up on her feet with the help of her bleeding hands. The blood thus smeared on her throat made her look far worse for wear than she really was.
After getting up and, standing close to her new lord, scrutinising the other group closely for a few seconds she leaned in during a pause, and whispered with poorly hidden contempt: "My lord, these are forsaken! We cannot... I really do not recommend... Forsaken!"

In answer Max tilted his head towards the rest of their group. "Hey! You need anything from the boat, grab it now. I doubt we'll be coming back this way any time soon." So saying, Max hitched his belt, cracked his neck, and started off towards the imposing line of trees.
