At the odd sound of the gyrocopter Sherry had left the kitchen and stood on the doorstep. She had marvelled at the machine as it descended through the sky, gaping, struck dumb. Yet now, with it landed, she closed her mouth and smiled contentedly as she watched the two men in her life talk. She leaned on the door frame, a dish rag forgotten in her hands as her son, nearly crying as he was reassured that he would not be denied the promised trip wiped his eyes on the back of his sleeve.

"I have a flair for the dramatic," Vala'Sin shrugged. "It's a flaw. As for getting down there..." He tapped the tip of his sword against the stone floor, and left it there. The page of the tome glowed with blue light, and a line of ice crept out from the sword in both directions, forming a ring and then starting to fill that ring with a pattern of lines, lines drawn in ice.
"You may want to stand back."

"My sister Squeak." He said turning back to Sherry. "She owns a dress shop in Ironforge. She makes all the dresses and clothes for my family and friends as a way to show off her work." He added.

Vala'Sin also stepped back, but was careful to keep his sword on the ice. Only when he had to stretch his farthest to keep the connection did he pull the blade away.
The runic symbol the ice had created flashed with blinding light, and the circle - ice and stone - cracked, shattered, and began to drift away into dust. Most of it collected in the slowly-sinking circle, some of it vanished altogether.
"It'll take a few minutes," Vala'Sin remarked, sheathing his sword. "The spell is efficient, not quick."

Tristan shifted awkwardly, tousling his hair as much as the coastal breeze did and looked out across the towering boughs, "Does Kalimdor even have normal sized trees?" he wondered aloud.
The ghost had apparently dissipated from beyond the wall, as the rapier had once again grown somewhat weightier with the restless spirit within.
