"Right away, my lord," Angela acknowledged, being in the middle of applying the trimmed robes over her old clothes. The revealing neckline at the moment only revealed the torn shirt underneath, but the garment fit her closely - almost as if tailored to her figure. When the process was done and the sash secured around her waist she took her few belongings and, with a longing glance, decided to leave the heavy weapons behind. She could always go back later.
Not minutes later she set a bare foot on the stair of ice, regretting that (and wondering why) she hadn't looted a pair of shoes.

Max sighed. "Well, there's that. Now, let's-" He stopped as a sound reached him. A frantic, rustling thing, like a forest rustling in a violent wind. Something moved in the darkness of the tunnel. The sound grew, it drawing closer.

"And we," Victor continued as though the interruption had never happened, "might be looking for some others who could aid us in this time. I don't suppose you two lovely young ladies might be willing to accompany us?"
