"Do I look like I'm laughing? What are you even doing here?" Max demanded harshly. "Two continents of coast and you wind up here? Were you following me?" he accused.

"Ah here we go." He said as he unhooked the pouch and grabbed either side if the opening and pulled causing it to enlarge till it was the size of a backpack. "She may be crazy but Squeak sure can weave some magic." Reaching into the enlarged sack he pulled out a miniature copper wooly mammoth only standing a foot tall.
He sat the robot on the side of the well and flicked one it's tusks and it's nose dropped into the well while he grabbed the bucket and opened a side panel producing a spout. He tapped the other tusk and a tiny motor sprung to life inside it and it began to suck up the water and spit it out the spout slowly beginning to fill the bucket.

"Aw." Riot said, looking down at the blood spattered mess in front of him. The wrath guard had been reduced to nothing but a bloody pulp and bones. "Toy broke." He said and moved off, slamming his foot down onto the skull of the demon, shattering it utterly. "Time to find 'nother." He chuckled and skipped off, not noticing he was covered head to foot in gore.

"Isn't that?" Fade said, pointing at a bloodied figure.
"It is." Soul said serenely holding out his arms as Riot charged forward, pulling the elf into a bear hug.
"FRRRRRIIIIEND Light!" Riot crowed, looking at the priest with a manic grin.
"Hello dear Riot." Soul said with a fond smile at the young human. "You've been having fun again haven't you?" He asked, looking down at the mess steadily staining his own robes.
"Was very fun. Demon's make the greatest patterns when I cut and slice and dig and flay and bash and crash..." Riot chattered moving around the pair as they headed towards the Slagworks.

Max paused as he processed this. He jolted to his feet, stool tumbling to the floor behind him. "Oh fel she's right! Any minute now a buncha bounty hunters are gonna be jumpin' down our throats! This is exactly the time for that to happen! We gotta get outta here."
Whirling about, Max rushed towards the exit.
"Ei!" the goblin cried. "Ya didn't pay for ya soup!"
"Didn' eat it! No spoon no silver!"

Richard raised his head at the odd sounds. Quietly as he could, he rolled onto his stomach peered over the tips of the grass towards the well. What he saw forced him to stifle a gasp of delight.

"Experience Tristan," the wizard declared reflectively. "Why, I learned more in the beds across Azeroth than I did at the feet of the masters. You too would know that. Perhaps I should purchase you a woman of easy virtue," he mused.

Once Richard was done filling the bucket he closed the mammoth and left it sitting on the well wall and carried the bucket back towards the house unaware he had left his expanded backpack sitting against the wall.

The boy watched as Richard left. He glanced at the bag and hesitated. Glancing once more to assure he was alone, the boy rose, and approached the bag. He squatted on his hams and peered inside.

As the boy looked inside he saw a large room lined with various robots and gadgets. In the center sat two tables the one on the left was full of various tools and supplies. At the one on the right two mechagnomes sat on either side of the table a set of cards in there hands and others tossed around the table.
"Got any two's?" The first asked as it's green eyes scanned it's cards. "Nope. Go fish." The second replied it's blue eyes watching the other. "So when do you think we can meet this Sherry and this kid?" The first asked and the other shrugged. "Probably not for awhile. Don't want to drop everything on them at once I mean it's going to be odd enough for him to try explain what's been happening."

The young boy stared, unable to understand what he was looking at. He abruptly closed it, rose, and backed away.

"Nonesense. Ah, and here's our dinner," Victor said, spreading his hands as the waitress deposited the food before them. "Though you may have a point," Victor added, tapping his spoon against the table. He nodded. "Yes. It's best you don't pay for your first time. It would be your first time, yes?"
The night elven waitress glanced between them, her silver eyes shining with curiosity.

Sherry took the bucket from him and brought it to a pot heating over the fire. She poured the waters in and began to ferry in the potatoes and meat she had been cutting. She looked lovingly at Richard. "Thank you," she said, smiling sweetly.

Bip flailed, suddenly falling backwards. Picking himself up, he quickly hurried to follow. "Bip follow Boss Max!" He exclaimed.
From the shadows, eyes watched the man leaving the bar carefully. Slowly, the slender figure moved through the darkness, keeping the former prisoner in view.
