Onyxia is a joke right now. We two manned her last night (my hunter with pet as tank and feral druid for heals in phase 2) and we only had 1 deep breath for the whole fight. /shrug

If you are getting owned by too many snakes, or too many pools, it's lack of dps.
I did the snake fight with some really solid dps(2.8-3.5k on bosses), and we only had one nova, and just nuked the *!@# outa him thru it to down him about 6 seconds or so after the first poison nova. I ended up being in the nova as the healer too, so pally healing tank, self, and the melee dps that was sitting in it was pretty crazy. That was the first time I ever downed him on the first try with no deaths.
That fight wasn't buffed, it was fixed. You used to be able to sit in the water and avoid the snakes all together. Now you have to use a bit more skill.
