Build your own armor sets!
Return to board index
I'm not sure how feasible this would be. I know it would be doable, but I don't know how difficult it might be. Here's my idea:
Add in a "Build Your Own Armor Set" utility. Here's how it would work: When you pull up an item there would be a checkbox that says "Add to set". The system would have a sort of "cart" that stores the pieces you select; a warning dialogue would appear when two conflicting items were selected (for example, a two-handed weapon when an off-hand item was selected earlier). Once you have all your items selected, you would go into the Set Builder, where it would show you all your items. When you confirmed the items, it would create the "set", showing you the total of all the stat bonuses and extras you would receive from that armor set.
In other words, it would look a lot like the actual armor and item sets that you can select right now, but it would be created from items that the user selected so that they could get an idea of the stat increases offered.
Again, dunno how difficult this would be - I'm sure it would be a task! - but it's something I'd love to see (especially after going through yesterday and formatting a full healing set for my Paladin that I can use to get started on the high-end instances...)
PS - has anyone else noticed that some of the ads by the text entry box on the forums is obscuring the typing? Maybe it's my IE settings...
What? In game?
As to your feature request, it's in the works.
As to your bug question, what version of IE?
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
I'm on IE6 at work. I'm actually seeing it right now, heh. It's mostly the ads for MechQuest that do it. I'm not sure if it happens with IE7 at home since I'm not on Wowhead as frequently from there.
Oh - and thanks for the "in the works". Makes me a happy Draenei :)
