Came back after about a year. How do I get my ilvl up enough to finish out the latest content?

It's been about a year since I last played. My ilvl is sitting at 319 now; I got a couple Benthic pieces when I started out in Nazjatar. Most of my gear is still under 300.
How do I get it up to whatever I need in order to do the latest content? I've tried running some of the N'zoth quests, and the enemies in Uldum are absolutely destroying me.

Maybe normal dungeons? They give ilvl 400 gear now.

Normal world quests have gear rewards in 410 - 420 range. Emissaries drop 415 gear
Warfronts, heroic dungeons and battlegrounds all drop 400+ ilvl gear. Even normal dungeons drop i400 stuff.
You could kill the new world bosses - they drop 445 gear (even the old world bosses in Nazjatar drop 415 gear)
Eternal Palace LFR is i400, once you get to Nya'lotha LFR it drops 430-440 gear.
I think some of those should give you enough pieces to start hitting the new assaults and visions.
Edit: There's a nice gearing guide here:
