Do you see a problem in your DPS due to latency issues, as in lagging shots ect? Because I just recently moved back to Yellowknife from California and I have seen a dirastic change in my DPS because of latency issues due to the fact that I am playing on a server in LA, I play on a iMac brand new, not even a month old, and my internet is the best you can get in my area which is pretty damn good, are there any suggestions that do not require a realm xfer?

if youre spamming buttons on spells before they come off CD on your screen, your latency will have close to zero effect on your dps
this. don't wait for an addon to tell you what to shoot and don't wait for the GCD to APPEAR up.
If you're latency is 250, then calculate that into when you shoot (i.e. try shooting for when the GCD appears as 5/6 of the way through). Or just figure out what shot is next and hit it over and over again till it shoots and move to the next one ;-)

Yes Kripp, I watch all your videos and I listened to the OutDPS Podcast about your DPS, and for some reason it seems to still not be working. I don't know if reloading the game might help because it is not internet lag, it is server or just my game.

Problem fixed, and I feel like a dumbass for not realizing the problem. Thanks for all the suggestions.

So, ...... tell us what you did to fix your problem. I have the same latency issues here in Australia (along with thousands of other Aussie players). Mine spikes between 250 and 5500. The only thing that I have found to work is to EXIT the game when it's bad, then re-log. Usually that helps. Some days the game is just unplayable.

I live in vacouver bc and my lag is fine (usually is around 100 to 150). But recently there are times when my fps would drop to like 5 to 10 even in heroics O_o then I have to alt tab out of WoW and come back in. Getting annoying.
I have the same problem (in Indiana) but it drops to 2 or 3 fps. That is 100% completely your computer (mainly memory and/or video card), and not your connection. I'd suggest trying to upgrade/replace the machine. That's what I'm doing this month :)
