Can't tank heroics, advice?

I've tried a couple of times to tank HCs, and only managed Gun Drak up to the third boss, I know that my gear needs improvements, but it would be very helpful to me if you could recommend me some specific items for me to get.

Handwraps of Preserved History (quest, culling of stratholme)

Idol of Perspicacious Attacks (vendor, venture bay)

Chain Gang Legguards (auction house)

Trollwoven Girdle (craft it)

Trollwoven Spaulders (craft them)

Jormscale Footpads (craft them)

The staff is not the best, but its what i started heroics with myself. I got Staff of Trickery from my first Cyanigosa kill <3

Start with Utgarde Keep, or Violet Hold.

edit: forgot Durable Nerubhide Cape. You can craft that too.

Avoid:

H. Azjul Nerub (unless you have a shaman with a poison cleansing totem) and H. Gundrak and H. CoS until you get better gear. These are hard to tank.

Yep simply do easier heroics till you get better gear for tanking.

Valor Medal of the First War - Huge kick of dodge with a good use ability.
Essence of Grommar - You'll need a really tight group for heroic AN, but this is about as good as they come.
Offering of Sacrifice - Good boost of armor, Survival Instincts-type ability. After the patch, it'll lose a lot of its glory, but good for now, rather easy to obtain.

Also, go get the Idol of Perspicacious Attacks. Great for AoE tanking, huge synergy with Maul.

I tank heroics fine, 21k armor, 35dodge, 26k health, all self buffed. And that is the low end (dodge isnt bad though)... Just make sure you have a good healer! Id say either shaman or pally, pally's just seem to crit so high on their heals, and shamans for their totems. Deff. dont go to H HoS, its all cake, except the Brann rescue thing, that part is HELL on a druid, not snap aggro besides demo roar which is what 10 threat? not enough, and swipes cone can be fail there.
And of course make sure you have good dps!

Mark targets, CC, make sure ur healer is ready.

Craft ur LW gear, Elixir/Flask, Get herbalism for that Lifeblood =op

Regrowth urself, go bear and then pull

Choose range DPS and not fail melee DPS =op
