I have been a feral druid since long before the days of people taking us seriously. I remember looking at the
Hammer of Bestial Fury and drooling, thinking it couldn't get any better than that.
Here we are years later and 2 expansions in and I am having a bit of trouble deciding how I am gonna spec to PVP. I have been toying with the calculator and taking in the new changes that are in the pipelines I have come up with
this.
Any constructive advice or opinions?

THIS is a build that I would use for PvP. Though I am not into PvP that much now since WotLK has started, based on my level 70 experience in BGs and arenas, it should be the best combination of offensive capabilities and received damage reduction.
Brutal Impact 2/2 is a must in my opinion. Most of the classes that have special stun abilities have them on a one minute cooldown. Being able to stun every 30 seconds in bear form is mandatory.
Besides talent spec, it is good to use also appropriate bonuses that you can find through glyphs and gear. The glyphs of choice for a PvP feral in my opinion would be
Glyph of Rip,
Glyph of Shred and the last choice goes between either the
Glyph of Mangle or the
Glyph of Frenzied Regeneration - in case you want a better 'oh sh!t' ability. Personally I'd get the Mangle Glyph. Also consider getting these two pieces: the
Heroes' Dreamwalker Raiments and the
Heroes' Dreamwalker Handgrips. That 3 seconds Rip duration bonus is actually a 4 seconds one. Thus with glyph and 2 x Tier 7 you get 4 additional Rip ticks. This will improve feral PvP by a huge margin, since now cats posses arguably the best bleed DoT abilities.
Wearing blue PvP gear and those 2 x Tier 7 pieces, and considering a staff along the lines of the
Staff of Trickery, having ~35% crit and ~5700-5900 AP will be a great starting point into BGs and arenas. Do the simple math for this situation: Pounce -> Mangle -> Shred -> Tiger's Fury -> Rake -> Rip. Then Bear Form -> Bash. This combo should be devastating for almost any class that cannot escape the stuns (or almost anyone that has trinket / abilities on CD). Having three bleeds on a target is huge. Pounce bleed, Rake bleed and Rip bleed, all increased by Mangle by 30%. For ~5800 AP,
Pounce will cause 2730 damage over 18 seconds, or 151 DPS,
Rake will cause ~2860 damage over 9 seconds, or ~320 DPS, and a 4 CP
Rip will do ~8670 damage over 20 seconds, or ~433 DPS. If one of your previous special attacks crit (or you got OOC proc), you get 5CP for ~10700 damage over 20 seconds, ~535 DPS. The bleeds alone will deal ~14300 to 16300 damage. If the target has resilience, reduce that by up to 25%, but you still get ~11000 to ~12000 damage. Counting in the auto-attacks (~ 1200 to 2000 damage if none crits, depending on the armor of your target), the Mangle and the Shred, a fully PvP geared enemy (having between 19000 and 23000 HP) should be close to death.
Anyway this is only some pocket theorycrafting, but I'd say that the baseline for feral PvP is that talent build, those glyphs and 2 x T7 bonus.
