Character restore

Hello guys, i was wondering, can i get a character restored on a different server then the one i have opened the ticket on.. I used to play on Stormreaver so i want to know, can i open the ticket from my doomhammer server to ask for it. (i don't really want to wait 1 hour on a lvl 1...)

I am afraid characters can only be restored on their original server. For $25.00 you can transfer your character to a server of your choice.

What he means is can he have a character restored to the realm it was originally on but open the ticket on a different realm, i.e. on his main, as for the answer, I haven't the foggiest I'm afraid.

I don't believe that the "where" of the open ticket matters. Considering servers are just sitting in a room. (I picture them with name tags of the different realms...why; I dunno...I'm a geek? lol)

If you currently have no characters on Stormreaver; yet need it to be restored you could try opening the ticket on Doomhammer and see what they tell you.

What's the worst that happens?

However, I'm just speaking of my experience with servers and technology. I don't work for Blizzard and can't answer specifically.
