Chicken haste -- when is it too much?
Return to board index
OK, so it has come time now for me to buy either my third piece of t9 or some other piece of triumph gear. I think I have decided to keep the t8/t9 mix going for now. So I would either buy the t9 pants or something else. I was really looking at buying the chest and breaking the t8 bonus because it had extra crit, but from what you have said it seems I will do better keeping my double bonus active.
And do any chickens of doom use Talisman of Resurgence? I use Illustration and the Focus Stone now.
Avoid the Tier 9 legs if you can, in fact, avoid any items with just spell power, spirit and hit rating on it (again, if you can).
As for your trinkets, I wouldn't recommend the Talisman or Focus Stone. The hit trinkets are nice at early raiding levels, but are hard to gear around since hit becomes worthless after a certain point, and the trinkets end up wasting more and more itemization as you gear up. With both the Sundial and Abysmal Rune being so easily obtainable, I would say go for either of those to replace your Focus Stone.

Why would you do that? they share a cooldown...
Elemental and either of the above would be a stronger combination
They actually give separate buffs (
), and thus don't share a cooldown.
The OP stated he already had an Illustration, which is superior to all of the aforementioned trinkets, so I was talking about getting either and replacing just the hit trinket. If you only have resto gear and really need almost half of your hit rating to be on one piece of gear, use the Living Flame... but either way you're only hurting yourself in the long run.
That's a kind of lame name for a buff.
"Now is the time!" is so emphatic.
