Heya!
i just wanted to tell all the leveling and the lvl 80 combat rogues about a little something. Ever gotten frustrated of not being able to do ambush cuz ur using swords or maces? i found a great addon that lets u automaticly switch to a dagger in your main hand whenever you stealth^^ the addon is called "Outfitter" and it lets you create different gear sets for any class. for instance a warrior might have loads of different gear, but with outfitter he changes gear whenever he changes stance! i just wanted to tell you all about this awesome addon! and since its so 1337 im even gonna throw in a download link!

I know that this is the forum for rogues and that this addon is for any class. but for me, that addon is
GOLD
for a combat rogue that wants to use ambush!^^

LOL! NO- ONE but ShS use ambush and even then its worse thn muti.... garrote does more damage, silences and ignores armor and is less energy. Combat should open CS for soloing and garrote on raids/hcs. Ambush is by far the worst opener.

Ambush might not be such a terrible opener in double DPS. It is huge initial burst. Highest damage per energy out of all rogue talents.
Dmg/Energy:
Hemo: 100%
Backstab: 123%
Mutilate: 146%
Ambush: 266%

Ever heard of plate?
Double DPS you need to open with CS- two rogues CS and garrote- garrote interrupts bandaging so its very useful, does more dmg AND ignores armor AND silences.

Arbitrary Numbers are Arbitrary. Only use Ambush while soloing.
