You do not need PVP tactics. I did all the Horde towns on my friends Alliance main, there was no group discussion about the strategy other than who was going to tank. Everyone else just did what they were specced to do, and the Hordies just left us alone. Maybe its different if you're raiding alliance (not looking forward to it on MY main), and kiddies will try to destroy you to "defend the king" for whatever reason, but in horde cities, the bosses are out of the way, and the lag is negligible.
