Well, elemental is the easier spec to play, simply lava burst people to the face and win, whereas enhancement takes alot more skill and you need to know everything about your class.
If you kind of new go elemental and learn what classes do and if you really like enhance switch specs.
So, you haven't played a Shaman since WotLK eh?

Elemental dps isn't easy to max out at all imo. When do you Fulminate? 7 stacks? 8 or 9? Will that ES mess with your shock CD as Flameshock is wearing off? Are you paying attention to Lava Surge procs? How well can you handle movement? Enh is tougher to gear well than ele, but I would put them pretty close in terms of skill to play well. Ele still has an easier time in PvP as a ranged.

Yes i have, but you cant say for a person who isnt very skilled and is jsut rolling shaman for first time would be better as enhance, no.
Elemental is better to get to know the game and pvp
Enhance got a lot simpler with Cata, Ele got a lot harder
