Consecutive Visits Error.

I have been tracking my Consecutive Visits as a type of personal goal. I believe it was somehow reset or has an error.
Just a day or so ago it listed somewhere around 12 visits, but now its says 7. I don't see how that is possible even if i skipped a day, which i didn't. I am constantly on Wowhead from the hours of 7pm-3am CST. During this time period, wowhead resets and counts as another day.
Can I get this looked into for verification please.

Hi there,
We are aware of an issue (it seems rare but we've had a few reports now) where the counter keeps increasing for a while and then eventually updates properly to show what we think is the accurate but lower number. We're looking into this and we're also checking to be sure that the number it eventually shows is actually accurate.
That said, I recognise that people rely on that counter to check that it has registered the daily visit so I can manually fix things for people who are affected by this if they contact .

Couple days ago, I had 50 something, today I have 28. I haven't played wow since early nov when my AP fell off, but I'm deadset on getting this. I still <3 my Wowhead and drop by daily, even if just for a moment.
Just counting the +5 rep daily visit counts in my rep history, I should definitely have more than 28..

I found out that to verify this, Count the +5 rep daily visits in your rep tab and keep an eye on the dates. If you missed one day, it resets. Thats what I found about mine.

Last 2 monthes the value of "Consecutive Visits" changed from 65 to 18, from 70 to 15, from 78 to 20... It returned to some previous value (60-70), but now it's 23 again.
What the f wrong is with this counter?

I noticed a drop of about 50 days recently, too, below 300 after I remembered a 300+ count, and now it is indeed 300+ again.
Don't worry though, sklif, it is a temporary thing as that counter is calculated repeatedly, and sometimes it just misses a day. If it at some point never goes back to the original higher value, send a mail to
feedback@wowhead.com
to have the admins look at it.

The current situation with the consecutive visits is that we have a known bug that we think is cache/server related which causes the counter to continue to increase even after a missed day has occurred. In each case we look into we are able to verify a missed day at the point of the lower number so we're pretty sure that
that
one is accurate.
That said, we're aware that people rely on that counter to monitor days being logged and so we take a portion of the responsibility for the missed days occurring. If you've lost a high total due to this then please contact and we'll talk about it.

I just noticed this today ... when I looked at the count yesterday it was around 230 or so ... now it is 186.
